Tried but she couldnt be arsed '-'
Wow what :nah
Just ignore the spirit stuff, it‘s not that much important. At least not until the latest 6th game.

In 5th game you psychologically break your witnesses to change their testimony to your liking, that being legit is harder to swallow for me than spirit channeling :XD

I doubt I'm the only person that doesn't like open world. Having you basically try and entertain yourself is so much less fun than games that give you actual gameplay.
Botw is also way too unchallenging and pretty much has no soundtrack. Rather disappointing.
You know that sentence is kinda self contradictionary? Gameplay means how the player interacts with the game, the overall experience of playing the game excluding the audiovisual elements. While yeah, BotW doesn't have a strong plot structure or story, it does give the player a lot of field to explore and mechanics to play with. Sure, gameplay is vague term, but saying BotW doesn't have any is kinda ridiculous. It just isn't gameplay in the sense of following a structured plotline to progress thorough a story. There is lot of stuff in the world, you just need to find it.

Also, early BotW was challenging. Atleast I died a lot while figuring out the game. It gets quite easy though after you gain some hearts and good equipment. But then comes in the geniousness of Eventide Shrine.

I also love the soundtrack. Or rather sound design overall. Instead of the traditional overlayed strong orchestral tracks games usually go with, the music is very low tone. Most people seem to say that there is hardly any music in the game. There is, a lot. It just doesn't pop out in the usual sense, as it blends with enviromental sound effects and elements very subtly. Imho it adds the immersion a lot and the feel of the world a lot.

Sure, it wasn't your cup of tea, but saying it doesn't have gameplay or soundtrack is... well wrong. It just isn't the type of gameplay or soundtrack you like.

So a mobile game, I always pictured those as the last resort for boredom, like, I would try one the day I got tired of everything and had nothing to do, and of course I run out of tomatoes to throw, right Hardy?
Don't complain. In here he tells people we throw poop.

Idk the whole Nagatama business gets pretty bs and I wasnt very happy when I saw it was the direction the franchise would take, but I just rolled with it.

True they are. But its the only thing one can play while using the bus/public transport or other boring stuff, so it has its pros a PC game cant do. I try to avoid phone games too but I‘m a sucker for Fire Emblem, and Dragon Quest but that one has no such mobile game.

You‘re not a gamer at all? Hm that‘s quite a big difference we have there.

But it's annoying when either my first team that doesnt have the bônus char ends up winning or I end up needing a third one that also doesnt have the bônus asshole c.c in autoplay all can happen.
As long as the first team had the bonus unit it counts, even if your next teams all dont have a bonus unit.

Ah the magatamas I always just took as a minigame that gets you more info and evidence. You dont use it in court so no problem for me.

Ust what Gry is saying are rather common complaints people have with the game. Granted, I haven't played it, so I cannot have a real opinion on the matter, but I would like to hear a nice piece of its OST, as people keep talking about how unremarkable it is.

Let's also admit that the game might be awesome but overhyped (considering it won several awards in things like story that from what I know is pretty average) so peole can also sound a bit too harsh when making a critic about it

As long as the first team had the bonus unit it counts, even if your next teams all dont have a bonus unit.
From my experience this isn't accurate (to the point my 1st teams rarely have a bonus unit, relying on losing on the last match) but if it is true then it's rather nice.

I was really into videogames when I was little and back in my highschool days, when I was 15 or so. I played so much to a FPS called Quake *o*
I just lost interest while my friends are all still into that stuff (LoL, OW, mobile games about warrior lolis... oh...)

Im kind of the black sheep of my group when it comes to that, I enjoy boardgames and love anime though :p

Yeah,I get those are common complaints, but they are, well, kind of wrong complaints. The issue with the soundtrack is it's ambient nature doesn't sit well with most people. That doesn't mean there isn't any.

What story awards has it won? Because that the only thing it imho doesn't deserve, 'cause the overall story was pretty weak.

On my phone and using Farf's internet, but you can easily check I think. Stuff like The Game Awards or public opinion ones like in any subreddit poll (r/nintendo best of ot r/ps4 not ps best of) iirc) that have thousands of participants, showing what the tendency is.

You misunderstood the gameplay part, I said basically what you said. That it has its mechanics and lets you have fun with it yourself, and that makes the gameplay. But compared to games that give you actual gameplay are just a lot more fun for me. With that I mean the gameplay experience which was especially crafted by the makers which you‘re intended to have. Be it an rpg, a strategy game, or a mixture of things. Compared to all that which is carefully made to be fun, the approach of open world games like Botw is bland and lazy.

You mean the island that takes away your equipment? Pointless since you can still use all modules. Throwing bombs/stopping time is endlessly broken, especially together with all the hearts you have when you get to it, make it ridiculously simple for whats supposed to be a challenge...
The biggest fun I had was killing a white Lynel with 3 stars. But even that is rather simple with timestop and arrows.

I heard that soundtrack argument somewhere before, and it‘s just silly for me. Hearing 1 musical note played every 20 seconds and call it fitting and immersive is so much weaker than having memorable tracks.

Hah it won a story award? At best the story is barely mediocre compared to many other Zelda games.

Pretty sure thats accurate about the bonus unit.

Well Reddit polls or that kind thing don't really mean anything. Thats the same thing as Fairy Tail being the best manga of 201X in Mangahelpers manga awards.Sure, a bigger turn out, but essentially a circle of fanboys fanboying with each other. It didn't win anything As of Game Awards and that kind of accolades, not a single one in the story elements according to wiki.
