Jump+ is more likely for WT since it would give more flexibility with page count and release frequency. Plus DGM was pretty much always the kind of series *cough* exorcists that should have been in SQ anyway.

He could fully recover, I think he has some back problems. Even if he fully recovers, which hopefully happens, there is no guarantee that he can keep up with the crazy pace of a weekly serialization in WSJ again. Shueisha probably lost money in some aspects because WT had such a prolonged absence, you have to remember that the manga got an anime announcement when it had 60 chapters only, so it was definitely some kind of special case and it was meant to be a part of the new generation of Jump. I think WT returning to Jump+ would be the best scenario.

Nobody forgot about his health status, many people here already mentioned it before you post, that's why people think that a change of magazine would be the best solution. I, personally, don't think it has any salvation, it has been a long time since it went on hiatus and it is no use compare it to Hunter x Hunter and DGM beacuse both are far more popular. By now, people's interest has decreased a lot and a change to a monthly or Jump SQ Crown would just make it more forgetful.

With a 6-month hiatus, it would've been salvageable, but with a hiatus of over 1 year, I just can't see Shueisha putting it back in WSJ.

Edit: I did a minimal effort edit in the 2018 section, so the number of total issues missed at the bottom is wrong, right now it would be something like 75?

Toriko's sales dropped a lot after the whole rushing it did towards the end. Even post-TS Toriko was doing around in the low 300k's for the most part (without an anime ofc), which is still higher than BC post-anime sales boost.

i was looking at the final time the toriko final volume charted at 204K, while the newest BLack Clover is at 238K.

You are comparing two series in different moments of their run in the magazine, it is right and fair. People are trying to tell you that if you compare both in the same moment, when they had anime and they were in their peak, Toriko sold more than double of Black Clover is selling right now. Given that Black Clover cannot reach 300k even with an anime running, its future in the magazine and its final volume sales will not be like Toriko, I think, it will be less than this.

Shounen Jump + is really a magazine for experimentation. I like that.
