Just saw it that Shueisha is going to launch 40 new manga in their different magazine between May and June. I don't remember them doing such initiative before.

For those who are interested, the final chapter of Samon-kun wa Summoner has been translated into English, meaning anyone who has been waiting for the whole series to be in English before starting it can now enjoy it for themselves. I personally thought the ending was really fantastic; happy endings all around. I hope Numa Shun comes back with another comedy soon since his sense of humor is really good, and I thought he did a good job developing Tesshi and Samon's characters over time.

Although they have a lot of different magazines to spread these out over, I'd imagine WSJ will get at least 3 of these new series during that time. I wonder who will go from the current lineup, especially among the newcomers, who I assume will make up the bulk of the potential cuts.

My bad, I didn't see Heiji's comment saying it was March and not May. In that case, we'll probably have to wait for late May or June to see another serialization round.

Ziga lacks a strong hook. Simply ending with him screaming isn't enough to get people to look forward to the next chapter when nothing has happened. All they did was introduce the characters and have the monster attack the city and end on the girl. This may be a two-part opening but the first part isn't gripping enough. Instead of saying he screamed, it would have been more effective if you actually see his face fall with despair and then actually show him scream with that dialogue.

Noah is fine but its a repeat of Stone's first chapters where there is potential to get good but its not there yet. I have some questions regarding the actual setting itself but I'll wait till the 3rd chapter to see if they'll be resolved.

They've already revealed the dates when the next batches of new manga will get revealed. At least that's what I assume from how they've built up the website. The next batch will be revealed March 29, probably too soon for there to be new Jump manga among them. After that the last batch of new series will be revealed on April 25th, where we'll probably find out about the next Jump titles.
They already revealed 20 out of the 40 series, so the next batches won't be as big as the first one.

When I look closer at the PV, there are a few in there that weren't included on the site

This is rather grand for a series that hasn't even taken off the ground yet.

4th of May (or 11th of May since Golden Week was in April) can't come soon enough to see its ToC ranking ;_;

Looks like just about the entire chapter is there to read lol. That's certainly ridiculous.

Wow, that's pretty crazy. Is it normal to advertise series that early? I recall RxL receiving early advertisement, but that's about it.

*Finished reading this week chapter of Kimetsu no Yaiba*

One of reasons why I love this manga so much is Tanjirou. He's so kind and sweet.

Does this mean this is WSJ's new approach? Or is this something just for Jump Rising manga, we know about the PV's, but now will train station ads become the norm for freshly started manga? That would be interesting. We've seen how hard it's been getting lately to get new manga to take off and things seem to be getting harder and harder, especially for rookies. Is this Shueisha's attempt to combat that issue? If only Ziga is getting an ad, that would be unfair for the other Jump Rising labeled manga. Are all new manga going to get the Jump Rising treatment?

I've noticed just now is only Ziga. Surprised Noah's Notes didn't get that treatment.

Maybe that will influence first ToC rankings in late April/May. It will be even more interesting to see Ziga's first ranked ToC. It could rank very high if Shueisha is already pushing it.
