Just adding another hint for your role so that we can update the role list of everybody would be plenty. Especially because now we got a Janitor, if he survives too long then all we have about those ??? kills are the hints everybody, including you, gave us.

Shapeshifter needs to turn half the town into his copies, no? If one of those is (unknowingly to him) redirected to the Bodyguard, that could mess with his plans.

Also i think, Elu meant his bodyguard explanation this way that the Bodyguard takes the kill of the Shapeshifter without the Shapeshifter realizing that. So the Shapeshifter would hit behind the from the BG protected target but would be unable to kill it as the BG takes the hit instead. However due the Shapeshifter's Illusion the BG "stay alive" and the Shapeshifter is none the wiser that his real target is really alive and somebody else is now an Illusion. That would be one hell of a confusion with the hosts laughing madly in the background. XD

I can hardly understand what you meant with this post at all, but James explained what I meant in more detail. I'm assuming he knows what he's talking about since the role is his creation

I also don't see how BG complicates the Shapeshifter in the proportion you 2 are saying. We're 24 players, he'd still have many targets to go for in other nights, so the confusion prolly wouldn't hinder him a lot. Plus, his condition to win is targets number bound, so he'd still have killed someone and fulfilled his planned quota for that night.

Well about my role, i didn't have time to check all the roles yet, but i feel like mine is one of the least interesting roles xD or maybe that's just a matter of taste; people might like this role a lot, for now i don't think i have any impact. So yeah, no, i didn't use any action last night.
I might have prefered a role more... Active, with more choice to make or stuff like that. Then again, i would probably have been unsure of what to do with it, so it may be better that way.

Gryffindor being killed this game annoys me so much. >.> He didn’t get to play this game. And I was wanting to see him in action again. Plus I felt so horrible after last game that I promised to protect him in the future.

In that game Gryffindor kept to himself too much. He’s a great player and even though Law was calling him out on the first day, he ignored it. He did that to Empty Soul a previous game too when she called him out for being mafia. Actually I look at their interactions a lot because normally they are flirting and when they aren’t, something is up. He also wasn’t drawing attention to himself as much like in the game before that when he called Demon out for being a SK or a third party. He has good ideas and is very sarcastic when he thinks he has caught someone in a lie. I told my group that he would be a the worse threat as a mafia member because he would have the resources of the other mafia and plus he could fly under the radar. Now I feel bad about that if that’s going to make him a target every game. Really he felt like townie this time. I don’t know why they went after him as there were better choices out there.

For instance, he couldn't be sure about targeting the Bodyguard if every other player is hinting something dangerous like Bomb, or if he fears that the other killing parties are likely to target the person he's hiding behind. And reducing the number of players doesn't get him much closer to winning if he doesn't have any illusions.

He would also be unable to be sure about suggesting a Det or whoever has a night action to use it on the Bodyguard, since it could be one of his illusions that would shatter and set him back. But let's just drop this point, I can't be arsed to discuss it any further. It's not that big of a deal.

Well just catching up, I still don't feel comfortable about Van, though his claim feels like it's worth checking out at least.
On asako, tbh I'm not really sure. I'm more interested in Gary though, he's been away all day, and iirc, from previous games he cruises like this till later days. Frankly I won't mind killing him to assert somethings. Also, considering Van's vote last day, I think it could potentially give some more clues too .

Yeah you're a good player but it's even all the more reason to be wary of you. One thing I've noticed is that you're always bold regardless of affiliation. Even if you were mafia, you'd play pretty much the same way. You thrive on making bold claims, and being able to convince others you're genuine. Well I dont suspect you but don't think you're immune to lynches. If there's something that makes you seem justifiably suspicious, I'd lead the campaign against you even. Your contributions could be misleading, of course it's always hard to be certain in these games given the lack of information for the most part. So that's not sufficient reason to think you can't get lynched.

Sure, that's how it should be. I do enjoy being questioned and confronted. It's fun. Though I'm not sure if I'd agree with you on being bold. Getting everyone to talk at day isn't being bold, it's a natural thing that should be more encouraged.

Either way, don't forget that you were completely wrong about me in the speed game as well, when I was telling you pompom was mafia and that you and Ust are both very likely legit. Only because you thought I was making up stories. Don't let this game go the same way, you can and should trust me.

Sounds like a Martyr to me. Which would mean there's most likely at least a role that can kill during the day, huh. Or maybe it's to counter the ability the Relic gives to Mafia Bosses.

I'm afraid that means penalties for you anyway, though. It's not allowed to claim a role with a day action, even though we've had some pretty lenient hosts about that rule in the past. Shouldn't be a big deal, though, so you don't need to worry either way.

Go for it. I have to go to work in around twenty minutes. No way I can reread all those pages with their hints and add them to the list. I think we should put pressure to the people who haven't given any hints so far or who haven't posted much to make them talk. So I would vote for shinobi too to see if a couple votes on him can make him more talkative. Anyone else for that plan?

A hint is not a claim. You can hint at day actions but you can't come out and say what role you exactly got. I also hinted day actions last game and got no penalty. And I know some people who tried to make me say my role name but I stood strong.^^

And right, what hints do we have on Gry's role again?

Tbh now I feel the same way. It looks to me like Xadyu can just say what he knows about Gry - after Gry reveals - even without suffering for it. Gry alrdy made it sound like Xad could have the info from observation, and Xad knows the way now to escape the pênalties (and we can still protect him during this lynching if things don't turn out this way), plus Gry made it sound like it wouldn't be terrible if he would claim his role anyway.

Fair enough Gry, just wanted to clear that up. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the newer players begin to feel that you're automatically legit.

Anyway, Van, I also agree with Xad giving what he has, because imo, the lack of info would only hurt town, especially if he dies (with seems rather likely at this point) plus he'd no doubt feel regret if he dies without getting to say everything he could. But I also considered that if Xad has something on Gry but still hasn't gone for me, then it implies he thinks Gry is innocent? In which case, it might not be necessary to reveal what he has. If we're to assume Xad's 'theoretical' means of getting info is legit, and it doesn't implicate Gry, then we could leave it be for now. Odds of both dying tonight is rather slim imo, and at least if both die, then at least the Janitor gets to kill only one. All things considered, it might not be such a bad idea to keep it for now imo

I'm out, that's not a good plan for now, imo. We should squeeze shinobi first, and vote later depending on how it goes. I won't risk piling up votes on someone that could very well be townie, so later the mafia just have it easier, while I suspect Demon and Asako way more. And if anything, I'd pick Gary instead of shinobi as an inactive to pressure.
