I've finally caught up to the latest issue with Hinomaru Sumou and its dumbfounding that this series sells so less. Putting the Pro saga aside, personally Part 1 is close to Slam Dunk in quality. I understand the character designs might be "ugly" as they're stocky and "not-cute" but the art, paneling and overall depiction of the sport is top notch. This is basically a samurai manga. But now I'm even more worried whether the anime staff will be able to fully depict the intensity of the matches.
The anime visual fixed the Hinomaru Zumou designs so it should have a better potential to see success, I found the characters to look significantly hotter in the anime design than what they were in the manga. Hype for more characters to appear.

Seeing as how TPN anime has been announced. Is it too soon to consider it to premiere in the upcoming fall season?

My guess would be Winter 2019

If only HZ was done by IG. :(

I haven't watched a whole lot from Gonzo so I'm not really sure of what they are or were capable of.

I'd rather not. We'd end up getting monkey paw'd and have a major letdown like Ballroom.

Anyway, I've said this before, but I'm fine with them "glamorizing" the designs if it makes the anime more accessible and attractive to a new audience. As long as the end result is an enjoyable anime and boosted manga sales then I'm pretty much fine with anything.

Not necessarily, some fall shows are still being revealed even this week (that hobby life LN anime was revealed and announced for october for example)...

I was reading the latest chapter the other day, and I honestly think it’s some of the best paneling I’ve ever seen. His depiction of action scenes is just perfect, and it’s literally getting better every chapter. You can certainly see how much he’s grown as an artist, even just looking at chapters from 6-12 months ago. It’s a shame his first series had to be on sumo and it’s so unpopular, but I don’t think there’s any doubt the guy will become absolutely massive with a future series. He’s a genius and definitely one of the best talents of recent years.

I'd say that Neverland is likely Winter 2019, but it could be Fall. If I had to bet money, I'd put it on Winter, though.

It seems people really got excited by that rumoured staff list. They started talking to Ishiguro on twitter about directing Neverland, something he never even got an offer to do. He worries that this may cause the people he's working with to think, "Did Ishiguro accept a job in secret?", though he doubts that will happen. He then says this kind of information is also troublesome to the creators.

Yonkou might have to start being extra careful releasing information about Neverland's anime.

It's worth pointing out that Yonkou didn't even start the rumors.

That was the sleuthing done by Baidu (?) but Ishiguro says that he's a fan of the work. It must have simply have been a coincidence that he started following Posuka's account at that time.
It's worth pointing out that Yonkou didn't even start the rumors.
Even then he's going to have to be cautious, especially for a highly anticipated series like Neverland. He is one of the primary information "outlets" to like half the world.
