And? So jump will promote newer series with higher potential to find newer audiences as their new big series. This isn't new. We saw this with Toriko as well despite it selling nowhere near Bleach.Eh, as for all the manga ......
Yeah, because despite its decline its still a big franchise for them. They can't shun it for losing sales, as all old series do. But they will start giving a higher preference to newer series even if they don't sell as much. But if in promotional images and videos it appears practically always ....
Toriko was put ahead of Bleach as a pillar from 2011 despite Bleach selling 700k a volume, despite bleach still having its anime running, despite the fact that Bleach got a 5 page extended CP for the start of the final arc and it still being popular. We do not make absurd comparisons, please. Bleach was finished at the level of merchandasing and sales ....
At the end of the day, all old series will lose sales after hitting their peak. Right now One Piece sales barely touch 3 million a volume as opposed to how it was 2 years ago where it touched 3.5 million easily. When it comes to a point, the magazine will prioritise a newer series even if it doesn't sell much. Watch it happen to MHA, TPN if they last long enough to hit the peak and start dropping.
