Did just no one translate that from Jump or did Viz give more info in their podcast than Shueisha did anywhere?
The source is Sasaki, editor in chief of English Jump and former editor in chief of Weekly Jump in Japan. He talked a bit too much while explaining the pun in the title. The host had to interrupt him before he said more.Did just no one translate that from Jump or did Viz give more info in their podcast than Shueisha did anywhere?
I like the sound of that. They talked about Kamio Yui in this week's Jump Podcast. It's a super-natural fighting manga, the protagonist has a split-personality and she gains super-powers when she lets loose her hair.
ah, I wasn't doubting it was legit I was just wondering why Viz's podcast would be the first place we got any kind of info aside from that one pic.The source is Sasaki, editor in chief of English Jump and former editor in chief of Weekly Jump in Japan. Yeah, I get that. Was just saying that I don't think they were supposed to get it, Sakaki just said too much by mistake.ah, I wasn't doubting it was legit I was just wondering why Viz's podcast would be the first place we got any kind of info aside from that one pic.
can they no just edit it out then lol. I've only listened to it a couple times (last time was when they were ending the magazine so I could learn more info) and at least then it just feels like they record some employees talking about manga, add the theme song, upload. I think there were sound mixing issues when I last listened (one of them was super quiet but the rest were pretty loud)Yeah, I get that. Finally, and sounds really good, kind of refreshing to see a supernatural action manga with a female main character in SJ, excited to readThey talked about Kamio Yui in this week's Jump Podcast. Last time WSJ launched a female led manga that is not a Act-Age/rom-com was Lady Justice (ahem, too many horrible memories with this one) in 2015. Yay!Finally, and sounds really good, kind of refreshing to see a supernatural action manga with a female main character in SJ, excited to read![]()
Neverland? Noah's Notes?Last time WSJ launched a female led manga that is not a Act-Age/rom-com was Lady Justice (ahem, too many horrible memories with this one) in 2015. Yay!
Yep on the first, but the professor was the protagonist in Noah's. To be fair, Shinuki no Reborn did specify action manga.Neverland? Noah's Notes?
Sure, though, Neverland too became a supernatural action manga after the Escape Arc.Yep. To be fair, Shinuki no Reborn did specify action manga.
It's more of an adventure manga. Either way, Sasaki specified that Kamio Yui is a "super-natural fighting" manga.Sure, though, Neverland too became a supernatural action manga after the Escape Arc.
Completely forgot about Neverland though early on it was about trio Emma Norman Ray more than just Emma than say Lady Justice.Neverland? Noah's Notes?
Yeah, I'm expecting a normal boy self-insert deuteragonist.Well, i was strictly talking about "supernatural action" manga and also a manga where the girl is the only main character or at least the MAIN character.
Being a Shiibashi manga, the "supernatural" part is probably about demons/monsters or myths, and so far the girl seems the only mc but it will probably have a boy around her.
??? Exorcist series set in modern times.Hoping she’s not a exorcist. Seems to be wearing a school uniform though, so I presume it’s in modern times
