At this point I only know FIFA and Madden, so KH is lost on me, though my character looks like half of the other characters in this game, black attire, just with different hair colors. Naruhodo.

Don't think Mafia Apprentice would be one of the tested roles considering it was tested in the last game, which Van was apart of, though that means Spirit Medium might actually be included this time?

I didn't realize the game had started xD though i'll be back tomorrow to read the rules in depth, since i'm going to bed now.
Last game the hosts said Spirit Medium and Mafia Apprentice were being tested, but in the end only the Mafia Apprentice was tested. I can see Spirit Medium being in the game for sure now, they wouldn't tease us with this role twice in a row.

Yes, you can only use the same form every night if you want. You get to pick one every night, so you can decide at the start of night which one you'll be using, like you'd submit an action.

Hi. So then I changed my avi, and now to read the opening post. I haven't played a game for a while.

Just got home.

Was reading over the posts from the last hour and saw the speculating on the new roles. I am not sure if my logic is faulty but I would suspect Substitute Teacher and Super Mason to be two roles that are used for a number of reasons. You guys seem to be looking at substitute teacher as a townie role, but it is basically a threesome candidate for the mentor's party. There is a very high chance of a mentor in the game simply because the last few games have lacked a mentor. All three hosts love third party roles. All their games have always included at least one if not more. It would be something new to give the third party especially since mentor has been so behind the other roles. Also all three hosts are very pro-recruitable roles in general. Elusia's favorite role from MU was a cultist type role which is basically a cross between a mentor and a mason. Vandred also wanted to add a substitute teacher to our One Punch Man game last year (Sad @Holt isn't playing). Not sure how Asako feels about a mentor but I know she likes masons.

As for what the third role could be, I was initially leaning toward Mafia apprentice since that would give each side something new. But also this is very large game with 26 players. So that means 7-8 mafia. While that could be a very large mafia group. A mafia apprentice would have to kill twice before getting their role choice, and as we saw last game with Brandish, he got blocked and had to kill an extra night before getting a choice. Not sure but think that would nerf a large mafia. And not sure how balance would play if their are two mafia groups.

So now leaning toward Spirit Medium as the third role simply because it has never been used. That would mean that they were all rand spanking new roles - Super Mason, Spirit Medium, and Substitute Teacher.

Speed just alters the priority of actions to the one right before it (ex.: if the action had priority 3, it goes to the pile as priority 2 instead).

Man, I thought the mechanic sounded pretty straight-forward when reading the night-action forms. But the Magic form is gonna be confuzzling, man... At first my just-woken Up thought only Vanilla Townies would be able to use that (to give them an edge) but I guess it’s anyone who has a ‘passive’ role.. that can be used in interesting ways.

Also, tfw when you get the character Ansem, but one of the hosts is “Ansem the Wise“. Guess I’m “Ansem the Rather Daft”, then.
