If anything A vs B was better than the current one. Villains on MHA are the least interesting part of the series to me.
Eh... I can see that to be honest. Either way all the characters in that series are so flat. Unironically Endeavor has more character depth than anyone right now which is sad. Honestly I'm just disappointed in general.

80% of chapters nowadays (excepting the recent one) is all just "MUH COOL POSES". Introducing the villains has to be done with portrait shots of each, like a list for a tournament arc he's crossing off. So uncreative. Man I'm so bummed.

Yes, it is confirmed that Japan is leaving. Though some reported Jump+ and some Saikyo Jump
Ok, as long as the slot frees up, I'm good. Honestly, it'd probably be a decent fit for Saikyou Jump. It could help inspire the youth of Japan to encourage their parent to take them to these places haha

You know Samurai 8 have writing problem when Sharkbait is serious about it.

Sam8 vs Saiyuki.
Hell no is Saiyuki better. Kishimoto already said in an interview that he's delaying the world mechanics so the beginning can be more action-packed and appeal to kids (which we of this forum are not). And I think it succeeded in that. I'm sure kids would love the first three chapters. We've already travelled across MC's planet and gotten him to interact with lots of people, which is more than Saiyuki can say twelve or whatever chapters in. We have a sense of what Sam8's world is like.

-------------
Are we forced to have patience with the kishimoto just because of an interview he gave himself justifying himself on the faults of the manga?
face any other manga author would be strongly criticized for very little.
saiyuki did not leave the plot of the story and sam8 did.

Like I said... we might not enjoy it, but that doesn't mean it's not good. It's clearly tailored to a younger audience so far and with that in mind I think it is really well done.

I think the fact that the Boruto anime is super popular among kids yet the manga does very little proves the issue there. Not to mention, what kid is gonna put up with the piles of complex terminology that even adult readers are having trouble with?

That I agree with, I have no idea what MHA is trying to be anymore it feels like it lacks direction, but anyways reading Sam8 chapter and my issues with the art are still there, wont go into detail of the story though until the official release.

Jump declares June 10 as date for Gintama’s final chapter. Unless Sorachi once again misses a deadline and pushes everything back again...

Any predictions on Kimetsu's sales for the half year mark? I think we will be getting the half year sales in the next week or 2.

If someone told me three years ago that I'd be liking Black Clover more than My Hero Academia I'd have thought they were insane. I don't think Horikoshi has had any idea what he's doing for a long time now.
Meanwhile Tabata has turned not knowing what the fuck he's doing into a genuinely enjoyable roller coaster. Went from being my most hated Jump series ever to one I look forward to reading every week. Crazy.

Well, completely disagree with you. It is kind of funny, for a manga with "academia" in its title, the most interesting things occurred outside of the school.
A vs B was a horrible mess which highlighted by an abhorrent asspull.
The villains arc could end in dumpster truck and it still far superior with just that Twice chapter.

I'm about 25 or so chapters behind Black Clover at the moment so I need to catch up again. Hearing good things.

MHA has for sure been giving off a weird vibe to me for a while. Definitely like this arc a hell of a lot more than the previous 1A-1B arc though. Although I'll admit that while a villain vs villian arc sounded cool at first, it's not as grand as I was anticipating. I enjoy the focus on the LoV quite a lot actually, but the Liberation Army are just starting to come off as blatant stepping stones for the LoV(more so than Overhaul ever did). Hoping I'll be wrong in the end, and something unexpected happens.

I make fun of BC a lot but it is definitely more interesting than MHA atm, better catch up its worth it.

Man if Chocobar was here he would have went on a fit because people are criticizing MHA

Sorachi has never, to my memory, missed a deadline. He's joked about it but hasn't. Don't rub dirt on his clean record.

Legit, I feel like Gintama ending will be kinda era-defining, honestly. It honestly feels like there will never be another manga like it.

I guess Viz stopped releasing the volumes because of low sales?

More because it was becoming too hard to TL some of the gags.
Makes sense as well.

And now I imagine that 50+ volume gap makes it pretty unlikely for them to return.
