Interesting. But, Deng Deng has been described as a 'key' to get to older bro. Who seems to be buried underground in the Pit.

My guess is Deng Deng has either Yama's or his older brother's blood which is needed to crack the seal. Meanwhile, due to the nature of needing the ladle, his soul has probably been extracted or sealed in another location - my opinion is inside Yama himself. Maybe that's why Yama can't leave - he hasn't since he took over Bayroad.

I'm probably wrong, honestly. I was thinking of when Paul first appeared, he looked like he wiped out Angel and Baragarv along with a few others (one of the, uh, female dogs, right?). At the time I assumed not dead, but it still looked grim, and hearing Cheng maybe just got one-shotted had me wondering if maybe they really did get got. Probably not, the more I think about it, but that's what I was thinking.

EDIT: so this is the non-fast-pass English chapter of the week and, yeah, I just got this wrong. Both Angel and Baragarv are clearly alive and well...cancel the funeral.

Incorrect reporting/bad translation?

Paul all but said to kill him. It's like 'let him sleep with the fishes'.... I take his instruction as killing him.

Then, the panel shows him getting hit, blood everywhere.

I suppose he could survive but that would mean one of Paul's rankers is inept and can't tell if a shot is fatal or not.

Paul himself incorrectly took AA as dead. I guess Chang could survive If someone arrives in time.

Trippy, but I think Quatro and Chang are the first implicit gay couple of this webtoon. Chang can't be a Mad Dog, he isn't even a Lycan. His development was that he was Very strong, a non Princess Fisherman, and AA owned him (took his eye). Then he became a representative of humans living with Lycans, giving The Cage some background and depth. And furthermore he is the one to betray Yama, not some New single use character. Chang was more developed than Akraptor or Prince. I bet Quatro Will Join AA and Tell all Chang knew, being the Key to end this invasion.

#1 Quaetro's gender is never stated, and SIU has specifically mentioned that it will be stated later on. There's a reason why it even has some sort of significance that SIU would comment on it.
#2 Chang has been hiding his true strength. I fully believe he's just capable of hiding who he really is. How else could he comment of Varagarv's strength when he warns everyone about his strength waaaaay back?
#3 There is definite significance in the manner that Yuri mentioned Chang was hiding his strength. Since that scene, we've never seen what she meant by it. SIU has been the type to foreshadow and/or make hints towards certain plots. Plus, Chang was introduced during the same season as the other Mad Dogs. It makes sense that all three would be introduced around the same time.

This is a bit late of another prediction, and a bit wild, but:

Akryung is going to be Baam's mother. The specific manner in which said character tells Baam, "You'll need to become a lot stronger to face Jahad" tells us this is a character who seems to somehow be aware of how powerful Jahad is. The black flowing hair also



Also: somehow, Deng Deng has the soul of Yama's second brother. Or something along those lines. No idea how this will play out.

1.... interesting about the gender-bending, but I still don't get how he/she fits the 'angel' motif. Ron and, um, Angel are quite obvious. Though, I suppose anything is possible and kudos to you if this turns out being the case.
2.... I agree Chang was hiding his strength, something I was curious to see. I've personally brought up that mysterious a few times now. But, he also doesn't fit the canine motif/build.

1 and 2 together are two unlikely's which, at least IMO, makes it seem very unlikely.

But, maybe you're right after all.

Edit - you're also missing some important context - the translation says that Paul tells 'Tall' to give Chang 'true freedom' BECAUSE he is worried about what he might say. Loose lips sink ships. That's literally his motive for killing him, right there in the translation. And it's a reasonable motive.

Plus, Paul walked right past Varagarv and Angel and didn't kill his 'angel'.... so it makes no sense to treat Chang any different if he's the third Mad Dog.

I think his sleep is tied to the festival. There seems to be a theme about sleeping, keeping beast asleep yada yada

The one shot was definitely chang. The text there says "창 " which is according to the wikia chang's name. And of course, if quatro gets shot we will definitely not see chang screaming his own name. Now, whether chang is alive or not is a different matter.

Something that strikes me as odd here is that the fug folk that want yama removed wouldn't approach karaka for help. I could understand if a fug elder and an ancient slayer didn't think much of karaka but even then its just not convenient to have him around potentially helping yama. Of course, if they approached him then they likely would have had to offer support in rescuing jinsung... Which perhaps they thought was more trouble than karaka was worth... In any case the fug folk behind this are pretty much antagonizing yama, karaka and potentially even white. And if madoraco has informed his superiors of everything they would also be aware that they are risking antagonizing evankhel. whom by sheer math is probably ranked higher than a number of slayers and elders....

I think I'd rather SIU saved it for Kallavan at this point, since that makes it much likelier that Baam will defeat him with it.

I hope he fights some one substantial (not Paul) Paul should be left for Yama. We need to see his skills in full display with shinworyu thorn and black march. The power that he would show off should be spectacular.

If evankhell doesn't lift bam restrictions I don't see him activate everything at once, he is passed that phase at most thorn 1 multiplier should have increased by twice as much which should be enough, something like Yama waking up and attacking on instincts should give a glimpse, if that doesn't happen then it won't for now.

Bam beating kallavan already at this point in his climb makes no sense, that why jinsung would have to be at floor 75 to 80, the multipliers and reservoir ain't enough.

If paul is a wave controller the item he is using is a staff like a gandalf maybe? Or he is using spells? Almost all the other dogs including Yama seems to be close combat types.
