Because twitter users and youtubers arent sources. They exist because they want to become popular at something by getting more followers and a lot of the times that stems from being brought up in forums such as this.
Everyone is free to go and made another thread about youtubers and twitter accounts elsewhere and no one will bat an eye but some members over here do treat youtubers/twitter accounts are some sort of source Gods and that's exactly what those people want especially when forums like this one are a great promotion for them.
There are some genuinely good twitter accounts like what MangAniMy does because they post actual data that they take the effort to collect. But most are in this twitter / youtube business just to get popular.
About Rain Spectre, I've been noticing them keep name dropping or linking their twitter more often. If it was a one time thing, you'd just shrug it off. But it's not a one time thing. So it needed to be brought up.
You've got a message option for a reason. Feel free to inbox em about it.
Also, people haven't brought up Shimabu being a pedo in weeks. Stop trying to prove a non-existent point.
No one's stopping him from discussing Samurai 8. He could post about it here as much as he wants but using the series to advertise his twitter account is another issue.
Look, I'll cancel it, I doubt it will be forgotten.
even because on Twitter he was more talked about than the other manga, even more than samurai 8.
even if it is canceled with 5 chapters, I would already be satisfied. The important thing was that this manga made a loud noise.

The hype's certainly not dead but at the same time it doesn't really feel like there's much hype for the Samurai 8 itself, rather it's still just hype for Kishimoto being back with the actual content he's making not really mattering.
And any praise it does get seems to mostly be for what they assume it'll turn into later rather than much praise for anything that's happened so far.

Nope. I’ve actually seen some people saying “this is the best new manga since the Big 3 Era”, and “This is the best introduction chapters I’ve read in a long time”.
They aren’t the majority of the group of people praising it. But there are people who legitimately think the content is THAT good. That or they’re blinded by nostalgia
Samurai 8 started a training arc in chapter 5 apparently, a bit like kimetsu in yaiba in the beginning.
And we know that the beginning of kimetsu in yaiba was complicated, but sam8 will not go through something like that because of the name kishimoto that is still strong.
But a difference between the beginning of yaiba and sam8 which is the sense of urgency that yaiba conveyed, and that caught you in Yaiba. Sam8 does not have this, even with the plot showing that it has an urgency to save the world.
There's been an update to our forum rules to broaden crediting/sourcing to all series news/announcement, etc. Please read HERE
