Gotta say, i am kinda annoyed the ranker bam fought had such a restriction on him.

Impressive from bam but that to be expected he is trained by multiple high rankers and rankers, hopefully he doesn't use the loops but it looks like he is using his black shinsu for zero flarewave explosion, guess that fine hopefully he does something with orb and standard shinsu control against this guy to see how much he scales

They don't know the extent of bam strength, besides even without transformations if it just hand to hand combat then bam can reveal some other skills.

Baam is really strong. And he hasn't used his orb yet, meaning he hasn't done anything Evankhell has taught him yet. Seems weird.

Interesting chapter, quite a few information we got there.
First of all, Yama seems to be a beast, if Paul, Gado & Doom are afraid of him coming there. It seems like their plan was getting the fang and ganging up on him with everything they got. That's quite a statemant regarding his strength. Maybe Evankhell doesn't even have to interfere and the elder is the next one regretting angering Yama.

Second, i did like how Siu keeps drawing Karaka as the smart slayer. Taking advantage of the enemies underestimating regulars, since they don't know Bam, is clever. Using Doom's wish to join FUG against him as well. And defeating Karaka probably means killing him. But if they destroy him, he just comes back (normally). Clever played. He doesn't even have to be stronger in terms of attacking power.
It's also (again) confirmed that slayers are indeed quite special - considering Doom (formerly ranked in the 200) praising them like that.

Third, it does seem like it is confirmed that Bam is at the very least advanced Ranker, if not high Ranker level (with all his boosts activated, of course).

Evankhell taught him far more than using the orb. Her sending him to find the Ha guy that refused to become a Ranker was part of her training, too.

According to Doom and Co its impossible for a regular to beat a ranker, so the restrictions are expected. Guess no one told them the slayer candidate is an irregular

You would assume she primarily taught him about his orb though, considering she uses an orb as well. Also, seeing the size of it and its importance to Baam in theZahard fight I would have thought it was still his go to move right now.

I want to see some orb action.

I know, my issue is not with the plot itself because this makes sense... I am annoyed because this leaves some ambiguity regarding how strong bam is in regards to a ranker. For all we know the priest bam fought is at a fraction of his power without his canine transformation. Add to that him having his ass kicked earlier.

This makes sense though it does not appear khun is capable of using enna core by himself. It does seem like we can expect it to be back sooner rather than later. I assume aguero will need to spend quite a bit of money on a few new lighthouses for him to be at a point where he can use enna core again. Gotta wonder if his fire abilities will be solely support or if we can expect something like what yihwa does at some point in the future.

Yeah, it seems Yama is ridic compared to the others the the point of making the other dogkin look absolutely useless moving forward (against strong foes not fodder rankers). The only thing is we don't yet know how strong Doom with his fang is. He is hopefully up there with Yama. Either way it looks like having Yama alone will make it all worth it.

And, yeah, I can't imagine anyone reading this arc doesn't think BASE Baam isn't at least a ranker now.

The training was also primarly to strengthen his basics. That's the whole reason for him being forbidden to use the thorn or other upgrades.

Lol like each week i thought this could not get more ridiculous but SIU always find a way to surprise me lmao, so now AA can boost a canine dog to the point where he can even reach a higher transformation, without mentionning the same plot of baam playing the regular card and impressioning rankers when we know he is an irregular, also karaka still thinks baam is weaker than him, what a loser lmao,if he thinks he can fight gado, paul and doom on one vs one he is really dumb one. That guy is a weakling.
Btw i wonder what is happening in the fight scenes, i could see nothing, it's just light beams all over the panel with destruction effect and it's like that since the hell train , is siu drawing an anime ?

SIU always trying to get some validation from his fanbase, what a lack of confidence , confirmation that he just gives characters random ability to please the audience, enna core, ice and now fire, i wonder what is next ? Nothing is looking forward to khun growth, we just want a story that makes sense, that is all lmao.

Yeah, Enna Core wasn't enough in of itself against a ranker on HF. Hopefully he'll figure out a way to upgrade it (of course he will; he's Batman) and/or maybe firefish used in conjunction will make it worthwhile.

He's still rich, right? If not I'm sure Baam can get FUG to buy him what he needs.

Kind of hope Madoraco gets the shit kicked out of him (White is still on his ship, hopefully Karaka sent him a message) and they raid his ship for useful items.

I wouldn't say that. Jordan seemed quite capable til now, by example. It's just that most of the matches weren't really fair. Maybe Cazon would be able to handle someone like Chunhee or the Ari girl. Hard to say, but if they are not capable, the whole "army for slayer position deal" would be a little meaningless.

I still wonder why Doom didn't used his powers in the first battle. Maybe Yama sneak attacked him and took it away, or they had a "game", like now, for supremancy. So it depends. If it is the first one, he could be on Yama's level. If he fought him, together with Paul, with his fang, i can't see a way of him being Yama's equal.

I am going to assume the boost aguero gives people works... More or less the same on everyone basically. As in, though not necessarily exactly like this, the boost works as increasing the power of the target as a percentage of their base strength. Hence why he is such an effective support for a ranker. It also probably helps that his flame used to belong to a ranker.
