Actually it's already Too 10%, and very close to being in the Top 5% of Jump biggest sellers.

Jump has serialized 692 (as of November 19/2019 AKA until 2019) so to be too 10% it would need to be the top 70, for 5% Top 35.

IIRC to reach the top 35 series a manga would need around 20 million copies, so Kimetsu is definitely gonna reach the top 5% of Jump biggest sellers.

The question is how big can it get (if, like I predict, it doesn't finish in this arc) ?

I would say Top 3% is probably too soon to even guess, but if the series continues and doesn't lose popularity it could be a Top 3%
Could Kimetsu even keep selling post it ending. I guess if the anime keeps coming. But this years increase seems like itd be a once and over thing.

You can't see who voted in the chapters? well, i voted for Kamio Yui, Samurai 8 and Futari no Taisei, it was quite hard because i wanted to vote for Black Clover, Mitama and Yuuna too, but Kamio Yui had a great chapter with some shocking gore happening there, Taisei was a perfect example of how charismatic and charming is the "Tendo Era" and Samurai 8 had a great and hype ending and the art was probably the best so far in the manga, Okubo is improving in a incredible speed.

Guys talking about how Jump really pushes authors to continue popular mangas I rembered a manga called Ninku, it had an anime adaptatiin and appeared in Jump Ultimate Stars (and other Jump crossover merchandising)...
Heck I have very foggy memories of seeing a DVD of a Ninku/YuYu Hakusho movie a looong time ago, so it even had a movie..

My question is, does anyone know why it was cancelled? Or maybe it wasn't and the author just didn't want to continue it after (IIRC) 9 volumes?

Just seems weird to me that a 9 volume manga got an anime and so much representation.

Maybe the manga just ended because the author wanted, it got a sequel from 2005 to 2011 on Ultra Jump with 12 volumes

I'd heard about that series from its influence on Kishimoto.

Not sure exactly. Looks like it went for 53 chapters, and then after a three-month break, a one-shot. And then a month after that he came back with "second stage", which went for 27 chapters before ending.

Main reason seems to be the author suffering from writer's block and running out of steam.

It did come back in Ultra Jump to finish it off.

Did you know anything about the author? Seems like just disappeared after Ninku ended on Ultra

2nd attempt for both of them:
-Shibata as you know did Yoakemono in 2014.
-Nakamura did before Kurokuroku in 2013.

About Jujutsu Kaisen anime, the seiyuus aren't big names but have some important roles (Itadori seiyuu being TK, Nobara seiyuu being Chihara). Seems Gege is going to be on the Jump Festa Secret Stage.
