Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

Tell you what, I'll make the votes visible if you do the hard work of formatting it and posting the results in here. It has to be formatted similarly to the last one, and afterwards, I'll copy/paste it in the MH poll thread.

Deal?
Ok

It's ironic because the manga did struggle a bit in the rankings during the beginning kkkkk
Bleach didn't even struggle TOC wise at the beginning besides being in bottom 3 in two separate issues then rising in the issue after...
Chapter 8 Color Page
Chapter 9/first rank: #3 out of 14
Chapter 10: #9 out of 15.
Chapter 11: #7 out of 14
Chapter 12: #8 out of 14
Chapter 13: Cover and Lead Color Page
Chapter 14: #5 out of 14
Chapter 15: #3 out of 19
Chapter 16: #6 out of 17
Chapter 17: #14 out of 16
Chapter 18: #8 out of 14
Chapter 19: #6 out of 15
Chapter 20: #13 out of 14
Chapter 21: #5 out of 15
Chapter 22: #8 out of 16
Chapter 23: #3 out of 17
Chapter 24: #6 out of 15
Chapter 25: #9 out of 18

I'm gone for like a week and there were like 50 pages to catch up on lol.
Zipman's color page looks incredible, but still I'm apprehensive to get hyped.
Yokaemono had great art, but felt like such a lazy amalgamation of much more popular series, kind of like how Black Clover initially was. Shibata wears his influences on his sleeves and despite his voice definitely coming out in his art, his writing has no soul.

Huh, I didn't factor in the merged posts thing in that topic. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to have a global post the results every now and then as well.

The funny thing is that what i'm talking about is exactly after what you posted, i have all tocs in my pc and during 2002 (first year of Bleach) the manga got plenty of bottom positions or at least half to bottom, the manga just really took off in the beginning of 2003, it is known that Bleach didn't have that fantastic start in the rankings, the first chapters did good but started to lost steam after and recovered in 2003.

You could ask the adm to disable the merged thing in that thread

Weird, one off question here. Do you guys think it's possible for there to be another serialization round before/right after the double issues? We've just lost Double Taisei, Yui Kamio, Beast Children, and TSS. We did gain Zip-Man and Agravity Boys, however those only replace two spots and we still have the Dr. Stone spin-off; which is ending in January(?), and TPN could also potentially end in December - January. This would leave the magazine with a decently large series vacancy and there's a chance HxH could return and fill up a spot but for now it's still on hiatus. Maybe this is the lead up to a much bigger round in February?

I'd say that's likely what's happening.

That is true, but what you are referring about isn't the early beginning of the manga, which is what I meant.
Interesting trajectory it had now that I am seeing more beyond what I posted though, thanks for bringing the subject up!

I'm guessing right after the double issues? That would make more sense imo

Interesting results, despite having like 10 people less voting than in the first poll, many mangas got more and less votes, didn't expected to Mitama getting so many votes despite the praising, same with Yozakura, chapters were really good.

my votes excluding S8 were more like honor votes, Yui for the last time and Taisei also for the last time but i actually liked the final chapter, well, goodbye to both, it was a fun run.

Big question, once Yuuna finally ends, do you think Jump should go looking for another ecchi manga, or no?

I assume they never really go looking (was there even one between TLR and Yuuna?) but just run what's submitted. I wouldn't really consider ecchi series a staple of Jump like harems/sports/gag/action so going a while without one (like they did between TLR and Yuuna if I'm right) wouldn't really be an issue.
