All kidding aside, aside from The Promised Neverland being so low, it looks like business as usual. Hopefully Mitama and Yozakura put out good sales numbers to show that they're only at the bottom compared to the absolutely stacked lineup above them.

It's worth keeping in mind that this issue only has 18 series in it, instead of the usual 20, and that trying to judge the rankings with such a low pool of titles might not make a lot of sense. I'm sure the bottom will look pretty similar next week, but I don't think TPN / Jujutsu Kaisen's placements are cause for much concern right now.

Didn't noticed Neverland at first, quite low even with the toc being super short but to be completely honest all these last chapters and "big boss fight" has been "meh" to me, so i do agree with the placement xD

Yeah is pretty much this my friend, we're talking about 4 guys being trapped in a planet alone and give the choice by some "fantastic being" to turn one of them into a girl, no one of the 3 (masculine) will think about all of this you said in a crazy situation like that because it will be just their natural instinct to go for the "feminine and cute" boy, simple, you're really not thinking about what would be for humans to be in a situation like this, and to be honest both of us are thinking way too detailed about this things in a manga labeled as comedy.

And that's why the premise makes people uncomfortable.

Honestly, I kind of hope the smaller character in the Agravity Boys preview stays a boy. I think he'd be cuter/I would like him more that way, personally.

But the thing is, it's supposed to be a comedy manga, so it will not be like this, like i said before, SJ would not publish a serious manga about 3 guys forcing a feminine boy to turn into a girl and have sex with them, also, all of this is just the one shot premise, not the serialization that we don't know much yet.

Please don't say "most likely" when that's pure speculation on your end.

One would certainly hope we start getting new series again immediately after the holiday issues, but breaks this short between batches in WSJ are very rarely a thing. It's possible and not unprecedented, but at this juncture it's also possible that they continue to fill the book with one-shots and other temporary things while they wait a little longer to start a new batch.

Both outcomes are equally as "likely", and you stating one being more likely than the other with no proof could lead someone to take that at face value and spread misinformation.

We can expect a shitton of extras from different series as a long as there's spots missing to fill. We'll probably get the same amount of extras in double issues.

Ugh.
People REALLY need to stop putting all the praise on an anime studio when the base material and story is what literally drives the attention and hype.

BC didn't sell as much because it wasn't good enough for people to get hyped about past a certain audience.
MHA sold only so much because that was what it was good for. The hype around MHA was surreal when it released and it still had a great anime. But the story's limitation limits it's growth and peak. Same with TPN.

KNY appealed a large number of audiences at once and a well done anime just helped get that across. Credit should go to main reason, which is the manga and its story and characters.

I agree, just look at the Kingdom anime. Even if it has trash tier CG, the manga sell hotcakes because the source material is so good. I didn't expected Quintessential get that boost out of nowhere because the anime isn't mainstream as KNY or MHA. Even you give HZ to Ufotable it won't change the fact that it will not get a boost because of Sumo.

Yeah, I'm already a big fan of the petite boy now that I've seen a better look at his design. Still won't know how the actual serial itself plays out until we get it, though.
