So, the only prediction I got correct was that the KNY Jump Festa was gonna be packed. Goddamnit.

I should've expected this. I get the feeling that anime events in Japan tend to blow their load on the first day. Like, yesterday we got announcements for a new adaptation of The Adventures of Dai, a new World Trigger season, anew Yu-Gi-Oh anime, and release dates for Promised Neverland content (anime and live action movie). This is in addition to a Jujutsu Kaisen anime key visual.
Was there anything interesting today? I was honestly expecting more from the Super Stage of the hottest manga in Japan, but nothing? Perhaps there wasn't enough content for a movie trailer, then.

Really hoping for something from We Never Learn's panel.

I think people have this idea that literally every single Festa panel is supposed to "reveal" something, when that simply isn't the case, they're mostly just an excuse for fans to directly interact with the creators and seiyuu and discuss the series, like any other con panel. Unless it's specifically marked with an announcement, you really shouldn't expect shit.

Yeah, but that's mostly just because a lot of anime PVs lined up. It was more a coincidence than anything else. Well, there was also Samurai 8, but that didn't go so well in hindsight. And we did get PVs, just not for anything directly ongoing in Jump.

Remember, Jujutsu's anime was announced just a month ago.

2018 was a special year.

Well about Jujutsu at least we got the name of the director and character designer. Also a new seiyuu. If anything the magazine itself will bring more details about the staff and oficially reveal the studio in 2020.
