first how do you get published? you send in your oneshot to a publisher right?
& how do you draw a oneshot? normally, you would need a studio or drawing equipment and assistants

you can do that alone for a oneshot but for a series that's a different story
drawing 20 pages on weekly basis alone (can be done) but is very hard

Ya know, I feel bad. Personally, I keep forgetting that Neverland actually received a really good boost after the anime aired. It became a contender with HeroAca and Haikyuu for number two. At least, I feel like we don’t mention it as much because a season later Kimetsu no Yaiba’s anime aired and stole all sales spotlight.

At least, I feel like we don’t mention it as much because a season later Kimetsu no Yaiba’s anime aired and stole all sales spotlight.

Yeah, really, it's sorta funny. Neverland had a great boost (even if it was already a big series), but then Kimetsu came and shattered all expectations.

I guess the fact that Neverland way more popular to begin with help people to dismiss it.

Me too, to be honest sometimes i even forget that Neverland was the hot thing during the first 3/4 months of 2019, it feels like a long time ago and i do feel like the franchise as a whole got totally overshadowed not only by Kimetsu no Yaiba popularity but also the drop in the manga quality, this is bit reflected in the MH polls when you can see the manga constantly being in the middle to the bottom. Still a big series ofc but i feel like there's a lot less excitement and talking about it than even some of the less popular series in the magazine at the moment.

It used to be my favorite series to read weekly, but now I've pretty much lost all enthusiasm for it. I stopped following it a few months back also.

It's just... well, I can't really go into it since that involves discussing the plot. Let's just say, it went in a direction I don't care for. At all.

People need to stop crying over not being able to vote in the polls (yet).
Voting in polls isn't a right, and if you guys actually like being here then those restrictions shouldn't be a problem.
Some of us have been here close to/over a decade so if we can manage that a couple of you can handle a couple months.

Also, a Harry Potter esque manga in a magic school seems like such a good idea. I just wish the MC design and general premise felt a bit more unique. It makes Mob Punch Clover comparisons inevitable.

I disagree with the entitled attitude concerning a simple poll, whether someone's been here for a decade or they create a new account just to vote I think everyone should have the right to vote for their favorite series each week. It's just a fun poll and it seems like a nice way to attract more people to the forum.

I 100% agree with the magic school setting though and am surprised they haven't one sooner in jump. I hope it turns out to be a fun series that can stick around.

Okay, so I've noticed something that I need to discuss with you all. For a while now, I've suspected that there might be vote campaigning going on with the MH ToC poll, but I haven't been able to confirm it until today.

Normally moderators aren't able to see who voted in a poll once the hide poll results option is selected, but osso gave me the permission to, which is usually only granted to global moderators and up.

So, now having the ability, I immediately started noticing a lot of questionable activity. By that I mean, I can see that there's a significant number of recently created accounts with no posts participating in the polls.

I bring this up because, I'm not sure what to do about this. This is a spoiler, and I apologize, but it's happening with multiple series, but I'm noticing it mostly with the two series tied for 1st, CSM and OP.

Both series have recently created no posts users voting for them, but OP seems to have more of them. Maybe they're just lurkers, but the fact they were all created in the later half of 2019 and/or within the last month has me a bit concerned.

Again, I don't know what we (or I) should do about this. That's why I'm consulting you guys. Should we ignore this and just let it be, or should we start disregarding votes?

Thanks for your concern Buranchi but I've been lurker for a long time just to learn more and also the veterans through your massive knowledge of WSJ but i'm still not confident to say anything because i don't had knowledge to said so.

The Toc is fine because this is how it is whether you like it or not but it's my concern too that i can't no longer speak my voice if you disregard the lurkers in this thread just like what happened to fan-scans poll that they remove One piece because it is too over votes.

It's kind of annoying if you changed it again in 3rd time because you never been satisfied no matter how many times you fix the Toc it wouldn't never been perfect.

For me I totally satisfy in this TOC because it eliminated the tied votes and i hope you would put it that way then move on.
