Henceforth, I will be deleting posts that complain about Weekly Shonen Jump having too many/not enough gag/battle/exorcism/sports/etc series.

These posts are not insightful, and do not meaningfully contribute to this thread. Also, this decision is not up for discussion, so posts discussing this decision will also be deleted.~ Halloween

So, regarding Yozakura's surprise popularity(?), Marcello over on twitter suggested to me the idea that it may very well be from younger readers in the same way Iruma was able to grow in Champion. Think that suggestion has merit?
I highly doubt that.

Why are you so obsessed with young boys and Yozakura the family sales?

I suppose that's possible, but I also don't see why you need to find an excuse for its popularity. We knew it was at least somewhat popular beforehand because it got an early color page where the author literally thanked the readers for the series' popularity, not even two volumes in.

Just accept the fact that you were wrong about it's reception and move on lol

What does this say?

Actually, you know what? New rule. When you guys post images like this, it's now mandatory that you explain why it's noteworthy.
I think that's just the only leak pic we got at all, Buranchi. lol

Oh, I thought it was an announcement for Dr. Stone, or an update on print numbers, etc.

Still, this illustrates why we need people to post captions and the like.

huh, I just realised, if people are not paying attention they will initially miss the TOC until someone quoted/repiled to it.

since it get stickied almost immediately.

A bunch of people will comment on it, so I'm assuming most would know to check the sticky regardless.

It's become so routine now that I doubt people wouldn't know to look there.

Good God that preview for issue 13 is glorious. Neither Yozakura or Mitama looking quite as dead now as some people thought. And the Chainsaw Man popularity poll being announced this relatively early is pretty nice.

It seems Jump is beginning to give Yoza more promo and also still supporting Miitama all the way in, it seems that they have more hope with this ones for the moment.
Also, Chainsaw getting a popularity poll this soon is surprising, happy of that.

That Chainsaw man popularity poll will be a bizarre one with the state of its cast, i wonder how all those dead characters will do.

Ouch, nasty drop for Agravity. Not entirely surprised, but still.

Seems that, even with the weak sales, Jump is still trying to back Mitama for the time being. Guess they're waiting to see the Vol 2 sales in March before deciding how to proceed.

Yozakura concludes an arc right at the end of Vol 3? Interesting...

Also, hooray, another boring One Piece cover... >>

Looks like Mitama's second volume is coming out in March. Odd...

It's first volume was originally set for January, but got pushed back a month, the same as Yozakura's first. But then Yozakura's second was pushed to April, but Mitama's second remained in March.

Nice to see Act-Age getting a popularity poll. Curious to see how it's going to be, but I suspect it'll be Yonagi, Chiyoko and the rest the boys.

Chainsaw Man as well. Ah, and Miitama surviving is nice.

I wonder if this has something to do with the controversy.

Timeline fits with the chapter Horikoshi would have been drawing at the time.
