When is JK's anime supposed to air?



OP's popularity was always wobbly in the US. MHA was definitely more popular.
I think MHA just works well for the North American market with the superhero theme.

Who knows, they haven't said when it's airing. They only confirmed it will be released this year.

I want to bump this to comment about how I'm surprised that Hero Academia movie destroyed One Piece movie in USA.

MHA has always been way more popular than OP in the US, you just have to check the manga sales in the US, MHA is always near the top with volume 1 and a bunch of other volumes within the top 10. Heroes Rising's box office just proves how big MHA is in the US and in terms of manga series, it's only behind DBZ.

If I'm not wrong the last time TPN and MHA released a volume together, TPN started at the front so this will be an interesting week, also because there's HQ in the bunch. Hoping for JJK's and CSM's sales to grow, maybe CSM can break through 100k before falling out of the top 50 this time. Doesn't seem like Mitama 2 will do better than volume 1 but we have to wait.

I cant help but think in the anecdotal case of a kid wanting his mother or father to buy CSM volume 6 and well, receiving a no.
Or a ultra shy guy not wanting to carry the book around.
But It should be anecdotal at best.
Specially since in volume 2 it had naked power already, although in a different position and in the back cover
