I for one am very happy that Mashle is neatly positioned in the ToC, even higher than Undead Unluck. Doesn't mean much yet but I'll hang onto every piece of optimism I can.

Wow, if true that JJK is getting neither 18 or 19, that's fucking sad. No anime announcements, no cover for its anniversary, no cover for 100 chapters, what the fuck is going on here?

Feels like it has to get one between #20-22 at this point.

Hopefully it's not a workload issue, and just a timing thing.

I think Rain asked this before, but what was the special Yuuna project that was teased an issue or two ago? I imagine we would've gotten stuff about that right no. Or was it completely overshadowed by all the Samurai 8 and Bleach stuff.

Damn, S8 ends just like that? I mean, it felt like it's ending but that's really rushed. Not gonna complaing though, I didn't enjoy the series, maybe it'll at least prolong Mitama's lifespan (another color page fck yeah <3).

And a double dosage of Kubo? That's even better. I have very mixed feelings about the last arc of Bleach but I still always wanted to see it animated. Also hyped for Burn the Witch, even if it's going to be a short series.

Now I want to rewatch all of the SS arc again.

I really believe the Burn the Witch animation push when the manga isn't even being serialized is to try to create a fanbase and avoid the Samurai 8 flop.

If Burn the Witch ends flopping like Samurai 8 I'll be laughing for weeks. I still don't believe that is going to happen anyways.

Only thing I want to say about the Bleach and S8 news:

Personally I havent read/watch Bleach, so its anime continuation doesnt matter to me. In the onther hand, I read BTW when the one shot was published and knew nothing about it being part of the Bleach universe, but I will be excited to see how the anime of BTW, specially because I like Colorido (Penguin Highway was mad fun and Taifu no Noruuda was nice too) and the director is really good, this combo sounds good on paper.

Now with S8:

We lived in a world where the manga of this fucker lasted more than the big comeback of Kishimoto. I know its not comparable but still, a little funny tought I had now.

They are already revealing key images and voice actors, the more i see about it, less i think it will be a regular serialization, it's everything "too planned" already for a serialization with no sure of being a success.

Okay here we go again. It just my option but final arc of Bleach wasnt exactly stellar and ending itself was... bad. I more or less see anime adaptation inferior to manga source for various reasons. One of those reasons is if anime follows manga it just repeating the same things. Anime doesnt going to make bleach final arc flows go away. Unless they actually change a lot things including ending itself. About burn the witch. One short wasnt bad but it wasnt all that good either. Honestly it feels like jump is pushing veterans to have new series because they might foresee coming crisis. Newbies are not all that great, lot of old series ending and. even Op starts to tremble. They need new hits and probably hope famous name can help to make one

• Corona-chan takes the world by storm
• One piece gets dethroned in almost every way possible by Kimetsu no Yaiba
• Kishimoto's big comeback meets the axe in 40 chapters
• ...and is replaced by Kubo's new series

I wonder what else 2020's wild ride has in store for us at this point.
