If light has no mass it can't pierce through either. Sting's magic is not light speed and has never been referred to as such, it hasn't even been called fast in verse. Nuclear fusion can start at 15million degrees hence why calcs for this have this as the low-end figure. Wahl is not country, neither is Brandish and her hype of title. light may have no mass but it has energy and momentum and has shown to move things, that is the transfer of energy, which is what primarily what lasers are for, it has plenty of evidence that it is light speed because of how it works, 15 million degrees is for the Sun's core which is only achieved by it's mass and gravitational pressure, so no, 100 million is the key here. For Sting's light to have force, which it clearly has, it requires both mass and acceleration...Which disproves your point about Sting's light being real light. No, Light does not need mass to do what it does, it is energy and momentum, even Solar sails have been moved from light, even shining a laser pointer on a scale changed the weight to it. There was no gravity involved, it was simply heat, plasma and magical energy acting as a way to contain it and keep it heated like magnetic field does, it is based on a real life process called Magnetic Confinement Fusion. Does not make it untrue as to how the ice acted.
