I mean, how many chapters do you think we will get per anime? The chapters of nowadays are bigger than the chapters from back when ToG started. Do we have 25 chapters confirmed? Maybe they should just adapt the entire first season, even if it costs 30-35 anime chapters.

Lets hope Rak, Khun, Yuri, Endorsi and Hansung Yu make people like the series. 1st season Bam is annoying and Rachel is cancer.

They will be curious to see and know what is she up to. Then, they will pray and hope for her death every week. And SIU will keep her alive until the end of the series

I just read on Reddit that it's apparently going to be 13 episodes, which leaves me not very optimistic that this is going to end up being good. You just can't properly cover Season One with those constraints. We're going to see a lot of content being condensed or outright cut.

Really? It could be a split cour. Or maybe they won't adapt all of S1(Unlikely).

With anime, in most cases, I'd rather have it go fast than slow.

ToG has never been very panel dense either as a webcomic. So I suspect there isn't quite as much material as people might be thinking there is.

My initial reaction of ToG being 13 episodes long was (*Imma flip a table*) then I saw your post, that calmed me down but I'm still somewhat not convinced...

Yeah, and I think Final test being 4 episodes is pushing it too, especially since last episode could be a 30 minute special without an opening/ending. There's definitely a leeway for the episodes to move around in length

I agree. There is a lot of room to move things around there.

The worst case to me isn't "Oh ____ was a little rushed". It's the classic 20 second long awkward dramatic pauses to pad out runtime, IMO. That's that would legit ruin the series. It would bleed out all the tension, just like it always does.

I think that each episode will cover 6 chapters of the manwha. 78 chapters / 13 episodes= 6 chapters per episodes. So for comparison's sake the first season of BNHA was also 13 episodes long, does anyone know how many chapters per episode was covered?

I don't know the exact number but the thing about pacing is that in anime form certain things don't take nearly as long. Like for example combat or action scenes. Either of those takes a large number of panels and might consume a whole chapter but in animation can be 3 mins long or even less unless the anime pads it out. Exposition and dialogue however can take longer in anime form.

It's not really as simple as X number of chapters per episode = Y pacing.

Yeah, it went from a gladiator to Zeus, but it's still a humanoid, though (even making the same pose). It's just the one on the left went from like a person to a griffin

I love lore, backstory, and mythos. That said I'm still pretty sure those etches don't mean anything. I know some have attributed meaning to them, but I doubt SIU thought that far ahead.

As such it probably matters not what's on them. I think it was just to show this is a tower with a history of monsters, heroes, conquest, gods, demons, etc.

In fact it could be even more evidence that the etches are meaningless since they decided to change them up.

I remember SIU saying these mural drawings on the 1st floor portray the entire story in Tower of God in one of his Q&A sessions. Again, it doesn't matter too much since they can just show a different wall if necessary, but just curious as to why they changed one and left the other two alone.

I think it was one of those Q&A stuffs I translated back on Batoto when that was a thing, but I think it's more of portraying the entire story of Tower of God over foreshadowing if I remember correctly

I can't access the original source, so I can't tell you what it said exactly. IIRC, It was something on the lines of how the paintings tell you the entire story of Tower of God and that they all have some meaning.

Yeah I remember reading that translation when batoto was active, btw I remember you were the translator at one point in the forum, I think around the NHS.
