Kimetsu and MHA are clearly (for me) the two best manga this week. Too many feelings in both of them.

I wanted to follow boku no hero academia, but my hatred for bakugou is stronger.

Kimetsu's chapter broke my heart as well...Zenitsu still obsessing over Nezuko at a time like this is lowkey annoying ngl.

Think the off-putting aspect is intentional in these covers. The darker color palettes and expression in most of them are definitely not meant to give off any other vibe.
Definitely think people like this very aspect of the covers but I guess its not for everyone.

That said, Vol 5 clearly has a very different vibe than the rest which is shown via its brighter colors and even the characters themselves.

Yeah, I understand the intention behind those covers and I think they fit the series' tone, but I just can't bring myself to like them. Akutami is capable of drawing the characters in a more attractive way, as he has proven many times. So I wish he drew the covers in the same way...

Anyway, the "ugly" style makes the manga stand out, so I guess that's a good thing.

BTW, kudos for Horikoshi. He has been ellaborating for some time some secondary characters in My Hero Academia, and now they are shining in all their glory.

This might have been one of the best issues in a while, so many series had really good chapters.

Yozakura was good, none of the usual complaints were a problem, and we got to see the family together

Mitama was great, all hail the salmon empire

Zipman continues at breakneck speed, U19 looks very possible, if not missing by one or two chapters

Agravity was great, I liked the jokes, it tied to earlier chapters, and a big reveal at the end

UxU was fun, I like where this arc is going

Mash was alright, got a laugh or two. Looks to be the most serious out of the three gag series. Kinda worried the cream puff gag might get old soon

Guardian I'm pretty uninterested in, can't say I really care

Kimetsu was heartbreaking, what a chapter 200. MHA was also really sad, this chapter is revitalizing my interest in this arc. Haikyuu and Jujutsu were also great this week

I don't literally follow every series, admittedly, but CSM/KnY/BC/UxU were all awesome for me this week.

You should ignore Bakagou and read BnHA for Twice, a mix of Deadpool and a kicked puppy, you gonna love him. <3

Is it just me or is M+ broken? I see no updates whatsoever, just an empty page.

I decided to read Dr. Stone in chunks, instead of weekly.

But yeah, I suspect there was some series that just had so-so chapters this week. Still, it's probably fair to say that this issue overall was just higher quality than usual.
