I definitely agree. I'll be cautiously optimistic though, as while I am praying the ending won't be extended to the dreaded part 2, I also hope that whatever happens in the next few chapters fixes a few of the issues we had with
I'm not a fan of these spoilers tbh since as the others said it does cheapen last chapter, but like I already said I don't see how this would lead into a part 2, I feel like it's really quite obvious where this is going

And what reason do we have to believe this is the series being extended? We have zero reason to believe that. Indeed, the idea that a series can be "extended" seems like something of a myth, since there's zero confirmed cases of it occurring, and far more of writers actually deconfirming it.
I'm not saying it is an extension. This could have been the plan all along.
I really just think we'll have to wait a few weeks to see how this plays out before we get a real idea at all, because at the moment everyone seems to be going berserk with their own idea of how it will end/continue now with no real base or evidence.

I actually only read the first chapter at the time but i'm talking about his potential taking in count his great art, one shots and the more than decent sales of Cross Account, the guy was clearly going for the "romcom" path and now suddenly he pairs with other author doing something totally different.
Climax of the ongoing battle/arc, it's not saying anything more
I might be wrong, but wasn't there a preview that said (don't think it's a spoiler anyone cares, but just to be on the safe side) "climax of the Muzan Fight arc" or something? Sort of implying that it would be another arc? It's not strong evidence, I know, but might mean something.
Last I remember was this but I don't think we ever got a proper "last arc" announcement if that's what you're asking (to be fair though, it was nowhere near what it is now when the arc actually started).
