I think it's easy to say it's being extended because of how dragged out the Muzan fight was. The fight in RLD was also painfully dragged out (not as bad as Muzan's fight). It's an issue with Gotouge who can't pace fights properly.

It's ok. As I said in the kimetsu discussion, I prefer a bad fight to a bad arc.
my problem is the possibility of a new arc, which has nothing more to explore. and what is left to solve just one chapter.

For those who are interested, the season 4 finale of MHA drew 5.6 rating. There is a second number now with the rating, not sure what it represents but it got 3.0. I would guess 5.6 is the household rating and 3.0 is the total unique audience but I could be wrong
Wow, I know that for sales recently it's been Kimetsu this, Kimetsu that, but those are some really impressive backlog numbers for Neverland, especially without an anime airing. Can't wait to see how the combination of Season 2 along with the movie and series ending will affect backlog sales!

...Okay, a little off topic, but Slime is huge. It made more money than everything bar One Piece and Kimetsu. No fucking wonder they're going all in with the anime's second season and spinoffs. This bodes well for a full adaptation.
Back to Jump:
About 45.5% of HeroAca's sales were backlogs, divided between 25 volumes.
About 51.5% of Neverland's sales were backlogs, divided between 17 volumes.
About 50.26% of Haikyuu!!'s sales were backlogs, divided between 41 volumes.
Considering these three series more or less pull similar numbers and are one of the biggest series currently running, Neverland's boost is remarkable. It's a shame that Kimetsu completely overshadowed it. But lest we not forget about one other impressive manga...
SPY x FAMILY. When the fuck is Volume 4 coming out, cause I need to see this fucking growth. Over 200k in just three volumes entirely from backlogs is nothing short of absolutely amazing. Endo really found major success after so long.

Well at least without even having to look, it's easy to tell where Kimetsu's entire backlog is located lol. Undead, Agravity, and Yozakura all seem to keep bouncing up and down in the rankings, but with all of them getting reprints already, I'm guessing this'll probably keep happening for a little while longer.
Am I the only one who feels demon slayer still has a chance to hit 100 million sales considering we are not even half way through the year yet, it still has 3 more volumes, the movie is probably gonna boost backlog sales, and even in later years we still got games and later seasons to keep it relevant
