Yeah, Iruma's been real interesting on many fronts nowadays. Are there any high quality images of the results from the first popularity poll floating around? I'd like to see how many votes some of the lower ranked characters got. Especially so I can compare with these new results.

-State of Emergency in Japan has officially been lifted, so we'll see how COVID-19 has affected things. Will things go back to normal, or will they continue to decline? Iruma's not the best test for this, admittedly, since it's been increasing, but if there's a sudden jump in sales of Volume 17, that might say something.

-Yowamushi's still decreasing, huh? Then again, it does have less days, and more weeks on Oricon, which typically shows lower numbers than Shoseki. But, still, that decline from last volume seems quite sharp. Hopefully it can turn things around. Even Volume 66 is outta the Top 500.
-Rokudou's out of the Top 500 after 2 weeks, as expected. This is the lowest selling volume that's been out for 10 days, all other volumes have had 8k or higher.
-This Beastars volume has actually lasted longer on Shoseki than the last one, despite selling less. This may indicate that some people may be waiting out the virus before they buy newer volumes, if they didn't just order them digitally. I wonder how long these legs can last. Maybe sales can stabilize before the release of the next volume in July.
- I think Iruma can break the 100k barrier in two weeks at this rate. If it does, it would only take 61 days for it to do so, which is about a whole month less than last volume. Neat!

Also, wow, is this Iruma's first overseas license? France is generally a great place to start, not jus tbecause it's France, but because a lot of people there watched Iruma on Crunchyroll:

Really hoping Iruma gets a US release announced this year, my guess being Viz or Seven Seas.

Seven Seas would be my best bet. They usually hold surveys about every month where you can submit manga or light novels for them to potentially license. Me and a few friends submitted some forms to get I'm In Love With The Villainess licenced, and they actually picked it up a couple of months later! It turned out to be a popular get, too. Plus, they have licensed Jitsu Wa, so that helps.

I dunno how popular Iruma is in North America - I feel like it needs to be more popularto get Viz's attention. Beastars managed it, though, so we'll see.
