I would imagine they would need a whole new cast if the originals from the pilot aren't around. Overall, my hopes is more if the comedy and action (it really gets great when it happens) will still be the same when animated.

Never listened the English vr, it's so different lol. In the spanish (latam) it's the same as the Japanese one.

Makes me hype on who will perform the new opening.

New Shaman King anime: April 2021.

This is actually pretty emotional. The 8 year old me that was first exposed to SK from watching the 4kids dub just shed a few tears. Absolutely nostalgic. I should really give the manga a reread one of these days.

If they give the anime the same treatment that the HxH reboot got then that would just be splendid. Another long running Jump anime alongside OP and the Bleach return.

As someone who hasn't read Shaman King, that PV has made me unusually excited and I'll probably start reading it soon, this is a great reason to finally get around to it. I really only know of it from 4Kids and the stuff with the author going to Kodansha. With this, Bleach, and the Dai remake next year, things are looking great for Jump anime. I know it'll probably never happen because of how Hallow went, but I'd love a D Gray Man anime remake. I think it'd do great at clearing up some of the more confusing paneling, better explain some of the more confusing plot stuff, get a definitive version with no filler, and give us fans something while we wait for new chapters.

Maruyama said he wanted to work on SK & Kenshin iirc. So I guess Kenshin is next from him, not sure if he still plans on doing it because of the scandal.

In general Kinnikuman & not really a remake but give Takeshi an anime.

If he won't someone else will. Kenshin has a profitable sequel which cannot be adapted alone after all that time, it was supposed to have 2 live action movies in this year and the next and has a potential for 75-100 episodes not including the new series for a complete adaptation with a decent to great pace.
This really came out of left field but now that I think about it, it's also 20 years since the SK original anime came out.

Another anime in desperate need of a reboot after Haikyuu!! will end will be Eyeshield 21 by Production IG, David, Madhouse or TMS but I can't see it as being this lucky I guess

Shaman King was literally one of the first anime I watched in my life and seeing it finally being completelly animated its actually making me cry a little bit.

The sad thing is, I don't think Toriko will ever return, manga or anime.

I wouldn't say its impossible. Muhyo & Roji got an anime adaptation a solid decade after ending.
Toriko did well in ratings and merchandise and was promoted as a pillar for WSJ for 3 years. So there is always a possibility that it might get a remake some day.

Demon Slayer has reached 300,000 units in print in France (Vol. 1-8)

To compare, The Promised Neverland sold-through 300,000 units in a year (with 7 volumes). So, DS is not as popular as TPN in its first year, but it's not that far either. However, TPN exploded in popularity throughout its second year, so by now, it's much more popular than that
Dr. Stone sold-through 320,000 units in 8 volumes, but it had more time to do so (1 year and 9 month instead of 1 year only), and since backlog sales are a large part of manga sales in France, that probably means it sells less that Demon Slayer (though not much less)
