Mash -> for comedy and boys interacting with each other

TPGW -> makes me want to read more

While I do like the recent developments in TPGW, Teppei constantly shouting to himself starts to get on my nerves. Sure, he is frightened (who wouldn't be) but I wish he would do more thinking and less screaming. It's just a bit tiresome when half of the chapter consists of mc cry in agony.

I mean, his reaction is realistic but I'd prefer a more subtle way of telling the reader Teppei's thoughts. All those spikey speech-bubbles are tough to read imo.

Honestly, Me and Roboko seemed ok to me. I think many people seem to dislike it a lot but I still got a few chuckles out of it. Still, I believe it’s the weakest of this batch. For me: Magu Chan > Hard Boiled Cop > Ayakashi Triangle > Me and Roboko.

Also, I REALLY want Kaijuu No. 8 to be translated. Read the premise and I’m very intrigued to see what it’s like. It got a lot of attention for only having one chapter. Could we be seeing the next Spy X Family???

speaking of which, a question I wanna ask is if I should start reading Spy X Family. Hear a lot of good things about it and I’ve been considering it.

Finally, some series had fantastic chapters this week. OP, MHA, CSM, & TPGW had the best chapters for me this week by far. But Moriking and Magu Chan had good chapters too.

speaking of which, a question I wanna ask is if I should start reading Spy X Family. Hear a lot of good things about it and I’ve been considering it.

You should at least give it a try. For a long time I didn't want to read it, since I'm not very fond of stories involving spies. However, after the second chapter the manga won me over with its charming characters and well written premise.

Hard choice with this poll, I'm gonna go with hbcd because Magu's gonna win.

Magu is very wholesome and cute, that is all.

Hbcd is really weird. I really like the aquatic creature-turning-humanoid premise, but I worry for the execution.

Kaiju No. 8 was decent. This chapter only defined the premise. Feels like aot/world trigger. The monster designs are probably my favorite part.

Tpgw keeps me interested, but the storytelling is awkward, really hope the author can pull this off.

Ayakashi just isn't for me. Ecchi is not my genre.

Roboco and me has got to be the worst mediapiece I've ever seen. Couldn't stomach more than ten pages. It's like medabots/beyblade/megaman/bakugan, but with coomer children.

Mashle is great.

Moriking is fun.

Mitama is fun.

Agravity had an interesting development chapter.

UU, Jjk, and CM, as great as ever, next Chainsaw Man chapter is going to be good. Jujutsu Kaisen is in an interesting situation.

A question I wanna ask is if I should start reading Spy X Family?

It's very wholesome and funny, it's worth a try.

Discount Dr Slump was alright.

Most of the jokes were more miss than hit. But interested to see that “battle transition” the author teased.

Didn't much care for the new series, aside from a few jokes.

Magu-chan keeps getting better. HBC&D is also shaping up nicely.

I just don't think Ayakashi Triangle is for me. The fanservice is nice, and the art is great, but there's nothing else there to hold my attention.

I'm gonna pass in Aykashi triangle after this chapter I just can't. Mega chan is fine I guess. Don't are for the new shit. Won't touch it unless I start hearing a lot of good about it. The only one I really care for is Hardboiled cop

Ever since MangaPlus started running, I've been keeping up with all new series debuting in Jump and Roboco was my least favourite by far. I wasn't expecting much by the previews but it was way worse than I thought it could be.

I realized I really don't like gag series that rely on depreciative humour to try to be funny, it's feels so outdated. Thinking about all this made me appreciate even more having some really funny series like Spy X Family, Mitama, Maguchan and Moriking, that make us laugh by being wholesome and relying on situations that people can relate to, even when they're completely absurd.

Fujimoto is non stop right now with these chapters, cant really tell how thing will exactly turn out. Mashle has nice battle centric chapter, love how Komoto manages to time the jokes perfectly and feel natural. Act age feels like we are preparing for a calm before the storm, everything just looks so smooth right now something bad seems like its bonus to happen lol.

Time Paradox fueling the mystery right now, just hope the author knows where to take it, Moriking’s chapter was alright, like how they are using the characters introduced thus far, Undead in middle of an action chapter, Yozakura wasnt bad this week, better than last week, give me more TaiyouxMutsumi tho

Magu-chan is a lot more simplistic, so it's easier to digest. HBC&D also hasn't fully fleshed out that aspect yet.

This was a strange week for me....uhhh....my top 5 is...

1. Undead Unluck
Words cannot express how much this series just gets better with every chapter. There's just so much packed into one chapter.
2. Magu-chan: God of Destruction
Another charming chapter and an amusing relationship with a new character.
3. My Hero Academia
God, I love Horikoshi-sensei's artwork so much. There's such a raw intensity to it. This arc is great. This may be the first arc I actually care about in the series.
4. Hard-Boiled Cop and Dolphin
A nice follow-up to chapter 1. I'm still enjoying this so far, unlike what happened with Hungry Marie. Keep it up, Tamura-sensei!
5. Dr. Stone
I love Senku and Zeno's relationship. This is building up to something great.

I'm going to give Me & Roboco a chance, because maaaaybe with the exception of Magu-chan, I've never liked a comedy series' first chapter. It's usually the second chapter or later where I start laughing a lot and the series grows on me. It happened with David-kun, Mitama, Mashle...I'm not sure why, but the first chapter of gag series are usually quite weak for me. In this chapter, I did laugh at how open the mom was with her kid about her sex life, and some other gags....but this is just a really weird series for the modern era. If the author's note does come to pass, I actually look forward to seeing that.
