I'll fully recommend reading the manga. I know anime is easier to follow but the style and art in the manga is also pretty great that it deserves to be read.
Kind of agree with you on the song tbh. I'm a big fan of Eve's work but this was a B effort of his at best, was hoping for more from him on such a major project.
Its not just the song but very boring composition overall. We are just shown characters and then again shown them but with fighting pose. Zero for creativity

Absolutely gorgeous. The compositing is stunning, it fits Jujutsu Kaisen's world so damn well. The action sequences that were shown were gret as well. And to be honest I actually like the song, it's catchy enough for me and that's all I need. (But I still hope for TK to sing an OP for Jujutsu).

Yeah, the song isn't the best Haikyuu!! has had, but that once cut from Mukouda is amazing.
I'm glad Akutami requested him, Yamashita is a genius and a master of his craft. Sad that this means that, aside from Hiramatsu and Fujimoto, we won't see him or the other key animators make cuts for Jujutsu Kaisen, I really wanted to see Bahi JD in the show, he makes some amazing action scenes. But it's also amusing and funny to see so many people praise MAPPA for the OP when this was made mostly by freelancers with no ties to the studio lol.
Goodness has there been another show that had trended in the US off of the very first episode.
Who cares the best solution is just ignore those types of people
Not that I remember but it's a lot easier to trend on twitter in 2020 than it was few years ago. So can't really compare.
