You say that, but if Aoki was on the project, the highs would be HIGH! He's basically JC Staff's ace animator, lol. You might recognize some of the more impressive cuts in OPM S2 as his doing. He can make a dead production feel alive. The only drawback is that he doesn't do freelance work...

Of course, it should also be mentioned that staff should be paid more attention to than studio. Just look at what the amazing key staff of Konosuba did at both JC and Deen!

that's Noguchi, he's one of Hoikoshi's assistants

he did a oneshot on Giga last year and a oneshot for Big Gangan this year

You're right, but there's nothing wrong with taking the opportunity to shill an animator I like

Besides, the point I was trying to make is to not get too hung up on the studio. Buildings don't make anime, people do. It's important to take the time to discuss the accomplishments of creatives and what they could contribute to certain projects (CSM in this case).

Yeah people do and people need time to produce good work, something jc staff and their 6 anime and 2 movies(and counting) in 2021 isn't giving confidence on their production schedule.

That aside I'm not really believing that jc staff is animating it in the first place. The tweet seemed more like he was a fan of the series and not necessarily working on it

Wondering how will the Gintama movie do. Will the Kimetsu movie wind help the Gintama movie income? They are even using the Kimetsu movie in the PV to promote the Gintama movie (Sorachi will give Kimetsu no Yaiba fanart for the people coming to watch the movie)

I wouldn’t minded if they completed the adaptation with another anime cour, but I won’t deny the animation and the art look so damn clean and beautiful on that PV. One can tell they really put a ton of work on this and wanted it to go with a bang

If Gintama movie works really well I will start to picture in my head Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 0 the Movie happening. Can't wait for January to see how Gintama does

How did the other two Gintama movies do in the box office? Since this is the canon ending (and thus "essential" viewing), I'm sure it will do much better.

Still, it obviously worked out well for Kimetsu, but I really hope that canon movies don't become the trend. I guess that's just the perspective of someone that doesn't live in Japan and can't see those "essential" movies easily though, lol.

Didn't see anyone posting but Hiroshi Shiibashi updated his bio on twitter with a "coming soon" for 2021, last time he did this was before starting Kamio Yui in 2019, so he's much probably working in a new series now, i would be really surprised if is on Shonen Jump, i think it will be on Plus.

Both did pretty well, the live actions too also did amazing 3.8 and 3.4 billion yen.

How does UU do with backlogs in general? I think it got a huge spike after it won that award a few months ago but doesn't seem to sell a lot since then (although each volume's sales is improving a lot). Like I expected for previous volumes to chart for at least a week with vol.4 out.
