Very glad to see Yozakura crack the top 50 but holy crap Mashle's backlogs are insane, head and shoulders above any of the other newer series in the magazine. Mashle's going to be to a beast down the line.

I'd say 450-500k for Mashle.
Most likely 300-350k for UxU.

Really makes you wonder how things would have went in 2020 if WSJ had a lineup like in the past with only 3-4 places free for new series. It's possible Yozakura and maybe even Undead (since it wasn't much of a hit until the award) might not have lasted past a couple batches if they didn't have the large padding at the bottom.

Being a Yozakura fan is a wild ride. The hope/despair whiplash is real with this one.

Stock issues are kicking in, simple, which makes sense to start now since is getting a full reprint soon.

Thinking about now, JJK and Yozakura were the only two volumes that were out of stock on Amazon since before the release, now are the ones having unusual big drops too kkkk

At this point i personally think Yozakura is gonna have a Hinomaru Zumou type of run even if it sales never explode. IDK, but it seems like its in a weird place i guess it sells decently enough for Shuiesha, and has a clear fanbase even if small.. And at the very least it seems like editorial are fans with it getting consistent solid placements and color pages the past few months.

I mean, I don’t think that negates the possibility of them being fans of it.
Regardless of how much they may like it, it’s factually not a pillar or showing any signs of being one of the future pillars of the magazine. It wouldn’t make much sense to put there, as it could completely blow up in there face.

It not being there doesn’t mean that hate the series, and have plans of axing it
