Not surprised at all, it was pretty expected. I'm just...disappointed.

People hate Suzaku so much that 10 voted for a character that got casually one shot by him in the actual manga, and 11 voted for a character who's in same tier as her

Tbh looking at this downplay of Suzaku, I won't be surprised if Gildarts ends up winning.

To be honest, I wouldn't have been surprised if Erza or Jellal had gotten more votes than him.

Even when it's blatant who the winner would actually be though? If Gildarts did win by votes, I'd imagine something would be done because it would make this entire thing pointless imo.

Is there any reason why white witch wasn't considered for the tournament? She no diff'd the entire guild. WW would've been a great contender for the tournament

I agree, she was an interesting character with interesting Magic. I wish she had gotten more feats and more screen time as a villain. In the beginning, I thought she was going to be the new Zeref of the spinoff.

isnt she too dependent on her hax? her only feat is her hax, she never had the chance to display any other abilities, like for example taijutsu, defense etc. the likes of Brandish and DiMaria had displayed other feats besides their hax, and if we restrict those they are still quite challenging. if we restrict White Out, what else Faris can do? she is either too haxy or too weak.

True, it's a shame too, she was kind of giving me some Zeref vibes in the beginning, I thought she'd be one of the main big bads of this series, I wish they explored that more and gave her some more feats before going for her redemption arc.

She's too dependent on her hax, like most Spriggans are. Including Dimaria and Brandish too.
Brandish's combat feats are x792 Lucy tier, and Dimaria got no diff'd by a partial END less demonized than which faced and stalemated Gray. Take their hax away and they're among the weakest combatants in the tournament (Dimaria isn't there tho)

I read through the Aldo arc again, it was apparent that Mashima had zero plans for WW and pretty much made up everything on the spot. I made a post in hangouts giving a solid example proving the same.

Thanks, I forgot about this panel. Giltena seems bigger than Arakitashia and Ishgar both. Weird how Team Natsu got from the southern tip where Valeria is located to the centre of the continent, where Draseel is, so quickly lol. That's because we don't see the rest of both of the continents...

Faris isnt a fighter type. She is a priestess, she is not even a guild mage. DiMaria is not in this tourney because she is a farmer now. Well maybe she can join again next year.

I really wish Mashima didn't make her a hero and just kept her a villain, it's such a waste to just kick her to the curb after all the buildup she had since the beginning.
