Neru cover is pretty cool, don't even look like is a potentially canceled manga, it really sucks that is flopping, it feels like another Kowloon case where is a cool series, loved by jp twitter and etc but for some reason it simply goes totally under the radar for the average Jump reader/consumer

Red Hood was less generic than i thought it would be, still a standard vol 1 cover.

I love High School Family covers

I know there's at least a couple people who check out the GFC oneshots, has anything stood out of the three so far? I remember Red Hood last year getting significantly more attention with the oneshot even being quickly fan-translated.

Also you think we'll ever see the 2017 winner show up with a series in WSJ? I think the creator's done a couple more oneshots since then, I feel like the winning oneshot itself is probably not coming but we could see them serialised with something else like Gondaira did with Poro.

Easily VROOM, very interesting art, cool main character design and a different theme, looks like a Shonen Jump manga, i think the author is ready for a serialization.

Lady Dimitrescu one shot was "meh" at best, at least visually, author needs to work his art more

Hard to judge Shitsuren since it seems like about being a manga artist, the preview art was more interesting than the art in the one shot.

Very random choice of one shot, i want to take this (and Vivi one shot) as a sign of Naoshi coming back next year


And the vomic for Ruri Dragon by Masaoki Shindo (GFC 2017) is already one of the most popular Vomic for a one shot in the channel, almost 300k in a month:



I wouldn't be surprised if we finally get his debut next year, probably with Ruri Dragon.

It depends on many things, see the case of jojo for example, it took a while to have an anime because of the references the author uses, so much so that some names changed when he went to another country.

It depends on many things, see the case of jojo for example, it took a while to have an anime because of the references the author uses, so much so that some names changed when he went to another country.

Copyrights about music is always the most harsh and punishable thing, using same/similar aesthetic/clothes isn't "owned" by anyone. Otherwise isekai (espcially nowadays) would've never existed
