It's an okay chapter. Been liking Asencio a bit more. Love how it's top secret and here we have him telling it to a Regular of the same family who he probably just met now lol. Bam should atleast be grateful he has people like Hwaryun on his side to keep him on check about the main objective.

From the translations it seems like it's not really the Lo Po Bia went to their own accord until they've been able to get a condition? Because the administrative forces did not want Zahard's forces dealing with Po Bidau so I guess they wanna replace it with another Great Family instead?

I'm a bit confused what would they exactly gain from usurping Lyborick's position because they already have Yasratcha. Unless they are enforcing the "only Jahad loyalists etc etc" should remain (like Lyborick to Kallavan about the 4th corps loyalty to Kallavan) and they're going after him because he is a Po Bidau so no exceptions. Or unless they just want to take more space in Jahad's army for prestige or something. Or they need that position to be able to go to Baam.

I can atleast understand them wanting the prospect of dealing with Baam themselves since that's probably one of the most important ones in the orders besides the Po Bidau. How it ties to willingly waging war against Po Bidau is something I can't wrapped my head around.

Yas and Yama are stalling when the FH shows up he is gonna capture yama for more experiments, he seems bored enough to do that, yas and Yama aren't going all out for some reason just alot of smirking smh, just give me Yama full transformation before things go sideways.

Adori still wants straight up war with a great family, than killing fug or bam I'm sure anyone with brains, knows killing bam completes the order the other regulars are icing at best, plus a FH trying to get involved in this conflict voluntarily to fight another FH, so gustang is definitely showing up since he is smartest out of the bunch and he wants a war as well, knows everything and is watching somewhere.

The two things aren't mutually exclusive. He wanted to steal all White's power and break his spirit before killing him. Unfortunately he overestimated himself and wasn't good enough to get it done.

I particularly like that Ascencio isn't quite like the other Khun kids we've seen. Not that I have a problem with the usual Khun attitude, but not everyone is a family needs to be exactly alike.

If the King's army attempted to wipe a Great Family and the rest of them used it as an excuse to rebel, then that really would be the end of the empire.

The LPB family head has likely accepted the job to kill off the Po Bidau because as a Zahard fanatic, he hates Gustang's treason. His subordinates probably want to use this opportunity to gain more authority in the empire by taking up power in the army.

No it's not. The curse of the 13MS is what he came up with. Zahard really can't have kids with most people. So far it seems only the female Irregulars and Princesses are able to conceive a child with him.

It's not like Baam has really given the actual Irregulars much reason to believe that they can't deal with him. Look at where he was at the start of this chapter, passed out from the effort it took to (fail to) squash a roach.

I don't think they believe in that stuff? Why would they? And right now Baam is nothing compared to him. Even Zahard can't possibly defeat a fellow FH easily.

If I recall correctly, the most notable ones in terms of the Families are Arie, Ha and Khun (i forgot if there are any chapters explicitly saying this but i remember Maschenny's talk about tanking Arie stuff in Ran's flashback with his fight with Inieta). Arie Hon is probably the strongest FH ranked followed by Eduan and Yurin. I'm not exactly sure where LPB stands because the wiki has no indication of the FH's ranking. And the ranking in general also probably has something to do with more than just strength but influence or etc. If those makes sense.

White is not a roach though. He is to Zahard & 10 GF, but not to Bam level. It's not like Irregular means achieving godhood day 1 and all floors won't pose a danger to climbing Irregulars . Bam has already shown how monstrous he is, from being the most weakling day 1 to less than 20 years being able to go toe on toe against a "legendary" High Ranker. That's some explosive rate of growth there. Yuri took what, 400/500 years to achieve just HR level?

Hon is confirmed to be the strongest after Zahard. For the others it's not clear.
