Some interesting trivia:

-Fire Punch ended on Jump Plus in January 2018, Fujimoto started Chainsaw Man on Shonen Jump in December 2018

-Jigokuraku ended on Jump Plus in January 2021, Kaku will start Ayashimon on Shonen Jump in November 2021

Kaku Yuuji was Fujimoto assistant during Fire Punch. Thats some weird coincidences kkkk

Huh? No mention here (or anywhere else in the interview) of being able to understand what's in a "young boy's heart"? Almost like women are perfectly capable of those things and should also be allowed to become editors at WSJ... or something.

I wish the interviewer had mentioned it, but I imagine awkwardness would've ensued.

I'm really surprised that One Piece will not get a cover for the1000th episode

lol now i realised its even starting in the issue we thought One Piece would get a cover for episode 1000, but well, like @redon said last week, OP will probably get a cover on issue #1

Yeah, I'm pretty sure One Piece will get first issue after new serialization round. Not only for its 25th Anniversary, there will be more important news

PPPPPP is not ranked as it have extra pages. Same happened with Red Hood.
As predicted, there will be a new serialization round starting in #50.
The most intriguing thing in this week ToC is probably the placement of Black Clover.
I don't remember the last time it was so low placed.

#50: Ayashimon by Kaku Yuuji (Jigokuraku)

HYPE and was not expecting him to come back this soon! Admittedly a bit worried that this is coming shortly after Jigokuraku but it could be intended to be a "short" series?

Lol Kaku really is following his sensei, Fujimoto.... Fire Punch (Jump +) -> CSM (WSJ) and funnily enough the gap between Fire Punch & CSM is also similar to the gap between Jigokuraku's conclusion & Ayashimon's serialization.

P^6 should do amazingly. I think every other serialization begets something that survives for awhile, so if both neru and red hood or gone in addition to past series like candy flurry, then P^6 has to survive.

Most of the questions were prepared beforehand so the interviewees can have time to prepare their answers. No way in hell Nak would approve the interview if he had to answer that kind of questions.

I had thought they'd keep a slot open for continued oneshots over the new year so it's nice to see 3 new series.

This does make the next round quite interesting, since they'll almost certainly have to end something longer unless there's either a long gap or these news series get axed at ch 11-12 like Jump used to do a lot.

-Thank you very much for reading Red Hood Volume 1! Not going exactly as planned. Because of the weekly serialization, every day in my bed I think to myself "Help me!" while I drift to sleep. Forgive me.

-In this kind of a situation I keep on surviving. There's nothing else. It's all thanks to the people reading this manga. Plenty of fan letters and presents etc. make me really happy. I cry reading them. Really thank you very much!

Actually, My Hero Academia could get issue 1 too. Popularity poll results tend to be by that time, like last december (MHA got issue 1 because popularity poll results too).

Issue 1 can be One Piece or My Hero Academia, one of these two. Just don't discard MHA. Issue 2 is 100% Jujutsu Kaisen though.

We discussed this last time, too. Is there actually any evidence that extra pages = unranked? Or is that something we arbitrarily decided?
