New villains being able to handle a human Acno tier is clear evidence of power creep. If a single black knight is beaten 1v1, then Eileen and August are obsolete to any and all of FTs main fighters, no different to Mard and Hades. Alvarez Erza solos Mard, current Erza prob solos August too, at least if she manages to match a BDSK

True, obsolete compared to the likes of Suzaku or Natsu. But obsolete to the likes of Erza? Now we're getting into iffy territory.

As for just having to accept August and Eileen are obsolete.... well yeah, that's how it goes. Mard was more impressive than August and Eileen in his arc, doesn't change the fact that when Alvarez came around, the top tiers of FT are capable of soloing him.

As for a Natsu vs Bluenote situation. There's already been one, Suzaku vs Selene, in fact it's even greater, everyone absolutely lost their mind over it lol. People were literally sperging out over that fight.

No it was Gildarts. Ars Magia wouldn't have done anything to Acno. It would just maybe kill everyone else.

Only because Ankhseram's curse kills those that you think are precious, and Wolfen thought Zeref was precious. The Aldoron seed is still stronger, and would just skewer Zeref in an actual fight. Same with Gildarts.
