I find this kind of interesting the one piece spinoff is just suspended so even if his new manga doesn't do so well he got something to go back on.

About the poll, i'd say my excitement towards Ayashimon and Dorondororon is about the same. I think Ayashimon will likely be enjoyable at least a little bit, but I don't see it becoming a favorite to read every week, and Dorondororon just has "typical cancelled Jump manga" written all over it, still, i'm curious to check it out, at best, it might be some mindless action fun. Mamore! Shugomaru just feels... there.

So they just suspended an active series to start a new manga? I believe this series is meant to be short...
I believe Dorondoron will be better of Ayashimon, despite the author success. The characters design are not appealing at all, while the first one looks so interesting (it reminds me kagamigami, the series of Iwashiro toshiaki after psyren, that unfortunately got axed, even if it didn't deserve it)

How's this compare to the previous volumes? Because I think this is the best all three of the current gen series have had thus far.

Magu: New girl and the new god are pretty fun
PPPPPP: Upcoming training arc and surprisingly good moral lesson.

Yod Venus by Nagoshi Ryousuke is the last Entry of the 15th Golden Future Cup.(Gotta say i kinda expected more from this one but it was entertaining at least, and i will say that the author has some major drawing chops).

Anywho, since all the five entries for the newest cup are over and done with. How would each of you guys rank the entries and which of these authors to you wish to see on the magazine one day?

My rank would be as followed: 1° place was a torn between Vroom or Snow Smile for me but i ended up choosing Vroom solely on the fact that it`s something very interesting that i have not seen within the series already established in Jump.

2° place is Snow Smile, just for shattering my expectations and giving us an unique battle shounen.

3° place is Yod Venus, i kinda admit that i genuinely think the author has some great potential.

4° place Shitsuren Beginning , same reason as third place.

5° place Jinzou Ningen 100, i felt it was the weakest but the author definitely seems like he knows what he/she wants so i look forward to when he returns.

s for the author i hope make it into the magazine is definitely both Ichi no He and Nagoshi Ryousuke, i feel like these two could bring some unique ideas both romance or otherwise into the magazine, same for Enoshima Daisuke . The other two am almost certain are going to have their series in the magazine soon enough(Still waiting for Nao Momose to make their series within the magazine).

Decided to just include the veteran 5 in my posts every week now, it's a long standing habit of keeping discussion only new series, but that's not something that a few sentences cross the line on. Better late than never

One Piece was great, really great Sanji content and really excited to see where it goes

MHA continues to be some of it's best in a long time, if only Star was introduced earlier in the series, because the art and powers are awesome

BC was the usual, but the last panel was cool. Hoping this arc ends soon

Stone was pretty good, glad to see it slow down and focus on a specific thing for a chapter

JJK was incredible, absolutely loved the little court battle. Higuruma is awesome

Undead was pretty good, solid stuff, Isshin seems cool

Mashle was alright, pretty standard stuff for the series, but the bad puns got a laugh. Pretty uninvested in the upcoming fight, though I did like the last panel. Solid juxtaposition, even if exaggerated a bit too much for me

Ayakashi was good, decent resolution to this arc, I assume it'll finally go back to episodic stuff

Magu was Magu, not a fan of the new character at all. Pretty meh chapter that was thankfully saved by the rankless being, who was funny

Roboco was alright, not it's strongest selection of jokes, but I wasn't bored by it

HSF was good, surprisingly wholesome

Sakamoto was pretty good, I liked the art a lot, and Nagumo is cool, though not huge on another one-sided face stomp. Sakamoto's fight should be fun though

Elusive was pretty good too, really enjoying the strategy, and it feels like a multi front battle

Witch was great, a both hilarious and terrifying chapter

Blue Box was pretty good, nice to see a chapter focused on Chinatsu, and the conversation with the dad was sweet. Can't wait for this cliffhanger to go nowhere next week though

So Red Hood ends, being the first U19 member in a while if I remember correctly. It's a shame to see it go, as I liked the art and the world that was being set up, but it really did shoot itself in the foot. Between staying at the village too long and basically going straight to an exam arc, I'm not surprised it didn't catch on. The battle/action shonen to exam arc pipeline just feels like a deathwish. While the way it went out was interesting with all the meta stuff, I feel it hurts it more in the long run. Between the commentary and the plotlines being thrown in, it's just a mess, albeit an entertaining one. And to top it all off, it ends with "Our battle is just beginning". Anyways, I'll look forward to whenever Kawaguchi comes back

Neru was good, also wrapping itself up with a nice chapter about his family, but not nearly as messy as Red Hood

P6 was good, liked that Lucky himself wasn't too present in this one, focusing on the impact on other characters

Very excited for next week, I was a big fan of Jigokuraku

Dunno if you consider this long ago, but Our Blood Oath was axed at 18 chapters earlier this year, in January 2021. Before that, we had a U19 double kill with Bone Collection (15 chapters) and Time Paradox Ghostwriter (14 chapters) both being axed in August 2020.

red hood chose the most boring run of the mill you could choose for a manga. awful. if you're a cancelled manga just go for something truly bombastic and out of nowhere...its not like theres a reward for *best written cancelled manga*

Yah I was hoping Red Hood would go out with a bang, have some real fun with the ending after all the crazt meta of the past few chapters, not just. I guess that's the series in general though, cool set up but boring follow-up as it takes the least interesting route possible.

Here's hoping Neru's ending is more impactful next week, I like that it's focusing on the characters to wrap up instead of just doing a big fight.

How about having a poll or something next week after Neru ends for everyone's favourite manga which got cancelled in 2021 Jump? Options I think are
- Agravity Boys
- Moriking
- Cop & Dolphin
- Phantom Seer
- Our Blood Oath
- Build King
- i tell c
- Ball Parade
- Candy Flurry
- Red Hood
- Neru

Red Hood last chapter wasn't that bad compared to the mess that led up to it. And way more satisfying than the Timeparadox Ghoswriter ending.

Katayama (Kaisen's editor) launched Golem Hearts, so I guess we'll see if he stays with the author.
Source confirms it.

Also:
- Naito is in charge of Mamore! Shugomaru. He has a history with One Piece and is currently the media editor for the series. Though his launch history with new series is pretty weak.
- Sakakibara is in charge of Ayashimon (editor for Jigokuraku - MangaPlus interview)

Ayashimon looks like my type of series I seriously dig. Please be my new Phantom Seer (but survive this time) 🙏🏼
