That's not how Santa works iirc Santa's night 1 action has to be giving the role to someone so they can then use it the next night, so again, Santa makes no sense.

Santa's presents are not limited to just "roles". He can hand in the sickness itself, I have been in a game where that happened iirc. Read the santa rules.
Maybe some of the active ones would be willing to share some piece of information about what they did last Night?
At least, whether they used their role or not?
In case a spy need this info to work out their sanity or something: no action from me last night.
~
If they was a recruitment yesterday among some of the most trusted players, it kind of hurt a lot, I'm praying it was a poisoner or a block / protect or the mafia team was so depressed they didn't send in their action (wishful thinking), mentor recruitment would be the worse case scenario,
Cinera explanation didn't convince me at all, I will go into more details later.
GB tho voted after Cinera to make it a 3 votes which should be enough usually to kill somebody, if not for pompom and sam last minute actions.

I just learned last game, Santa can gift anything the host want, so they could gift sickly status directly?
I'm more scared of a mentor or mafia recruitment at this point.
Wouldn't somebody claim to be the Sickly today if they were town
I already said this before (many times as you've pointed out), but I changed my vote to Shad because:
I found him to be a bit suspicious.
Voting him wasn't going to lock his Lynch.
It simply did not occur to me to place my vote randomly on someone as a method to unvote.
Even when I initially placed the forced vote on Seraph, my reasoning was "he's the leading wagon, so maybe he's suspicious". I only unvoted because someone getting Lynched by only three votes because of my forced vote wasn't something I wanted.
Honestly, I'm simply not intuiting the forced vote mechanics well. If I didn't have to vote, I simply would probably never have voted yesterday. Not out of a deliberate desire to be uncooperative, but because I simply wasn't able to keep up with the thread.
btw I am not a mafia, i don't risk exposing myself early stages by protecting my teammates, if anything I am willing to kill them, surely Sam you know all about that.
Regarding that Seraph vs Shad thing, don't really care about Seraph but I just wanted to kill Shadalanoob

Also, most likely they have recruited, I imagine a prostitute blocked me, if so then tough luck
Let's say you're town (which I still don't believe), how did you know that you got blocked? one way to know is when you have some investigative role (detective most likely), and got no pm from the hosts. Is that what you're implying?
Also, who do you suspect got recruited? Do you think it happened randomly or is there some thing you saw in day 1 interactions that gives an idea of a possible traitor?
To be fair to GB, I can believe this, I initially started looking to Cinera first, because you shooting me D1 didn't feel too out of character.
But then you would do and say the same thing as mafia, so meh.

I have, and most of the games I've played bar last game where there were a team of santas with "effects", the rest have all had roles to give that I've seen This really seems like a crackpot theory at best to me.

But how would that be more likely than someone just being the Healthy Townie/Sickly combo or having the Not Voter Disease?
As for why they wouldn't outright come out with it, perhaps they fear being blocked and want to use it to try and stop people they assume are scum?

What I'm saying is that Santa being in the game is a possibility, I'm not debating on how likely it is. It also makes sense with the setup of the game: 16 players: 11 Town 4 Mafia 1TP.
You being so adamant on Santa being a crack pot theory is kinda sus...

If 1 kill per night, I don't think a townie using sickly is a priority for mafia for a block or a kill, not when so many actives are still in play. Especially if mafia has a detective role and can find those juicy targets.
If I understand this role properly, as town you should use it every night for the rest of the game to prove that you are not doing anything else at night.
As long as you use it every night, you are a confirmed townie...
So I would think revealing it is the play but never had the role.
For now I still don’t trust Shad, despite changing my vote from him. Seraph ended up as a strongman, good for us now they can’t go through blocks (or at least I hope so). Asako also defende Shad a lot and he threw in her name in a post with “trust uber and Asako if I die”, which also could be a mafia throwing teammates name to confuse town, but no proof of that yet.
I don’t think GB is Santa, sincerely so far he looks like his troll town to me, most likely someone else who didn’t trust him passed the disease onto him and that person could be mafia since sickly is secondary. If there is a third party, I’d not think a Santa but a mentor or SK, considering 0 deaths last night, maybe mentor, but I believe we have a mafia with at least 4 members from numbers alone (3 alive most likely now that Sera is dead).
Other than that, I am not sure how to feel about Brandish, he could be town being helped by Bel or Bel could have made him cooperative because she wants him to be trusted.
I get Cinera was suspicious of Shad after reading my posts, but we changed the lynch to Sera and it ended up giving us a mafia at
least, GB jumping im could really just be him not trsuting Shad like he said, not gonna put my hand on fire he is not mafia. James seemed rather distant D1, but if he can confirm himself, then he will at least get some time before he is the lynch even if he is mafia, his analysis on the last votes looked town to me, I am neutral about him for now.
There are others I don’t have many thoughts on yet, will need to check their posts.

Yeah, but mafia is a team, other could kill while the sickly one just sicklies for the rest of the game, they’d only need to kill instead of using sickly action IF all the teammates are dead.

I forgot to add a "but", which changed the meaning of what I was trying to say:

It is, but I also believe it’s more likely other 3rd parties would make more sense in here. Like mentor or SK, we will know more with other night results I suppose, if suddenly 2 ppl start dying. Mafia could have a poisoner too, which would make it a slow death, this why we didn’t have a death N1.

About Asako, I said that before the Day results, after the results, I'm also considering the possibility I was just her townie friend, for uber I still stand by what I said before the vote results.

I disagree. Santa in the usage you describe doesn't make that much sense to me, especially with the assertion that he'd of gifted a sickly effect. For Santa to actually take effect wouldn't someone have been messaged to say they received a gift? You'd expect that to have been announced by someone by now what with half the day gone.
For sure consider all options but in terms of feasibility this really is very low on the list.
Thanks for responding before, but seems like that discussion has been flogged to death so I won't reply. The vote is, well, an indication of what I thought after reading it lol.

Mentor perhaps, but SK not really, as I know that all too well from the Yugioh game I hosted, because I put a SK alone among 16 players, and it didn't go well for them:
A serial killer alone has a pretty tough win condition, as they need to be the last person alive and they only have one kill per night. In a game with 16 players with strong roles (especially blocking ones), they'll most likely never reach their goal, only if they are super lucky with not being blocked plus town and mafia killing each other.
Santa in comparison has much better odds since it only needs to successfully target 5 players.
But yeah, Mentor is a good TP possibility, considering we have good chances of a recruitment having occured.
