Well, it's sad that Metal is not an option... I would sure vote it. I mean, Heavy Metal, Progressive Metal etc are not the same as Rock... :S

i listen to other music too...just not as much as rock in general...

Dethklok is about all the metal I can handle, though it is death metal. Listening to metal makes me feel like I'm getting too far away from my image-self. I prefer to make my music make me think of mist and the color grey...or buses. Metal makes all that get messed up and I feel like a moral traitor. Mostly, I only listen to Dethklok for
A) The show is great
B) That is some kick-ass guitar
C) A metal coffee jingle is just legendary
D) Any band that can make, "Doodily doo, do do, doodily, doodily doo" metal is great.

That's quite long. The longest I can listen to is like 7:30 something (ironically, Transatlanticism). There's this one song I heard, "John Barleycorn Must Die". It's only like 6 minutes long, but it felt like an eternity...

well i listen to a lot of rock and metal, but i have no real favorite. i can listen to just about anything except harder rap.

I agree, it's bad to stick to one genre. One of my friends only listens to one thing: Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5.

ah i used to listen to a lot of english, namingly Linkin Park and various, bit of RnB. But around year 9 i started getting into more japanese, so i listen to J-rock / J-Pop mainly xD
