You could bring up an appeal to tradition for every word if you wanted. In fact, reactionaries do it all the time for words they no longer like the definitions of. What law changes point to the mainstream acceptance of pedophilia? The suggestion that gays have more rights than non-gays anywhere on this planet is absurd, where is the basis for that? Teaching children about the world they live in is not indoctrination, it's called responsible parenting. There is no widespread or mainstream push for pedophilia inclusivity either. That is a decades old lie to invalidate those that aren't heteronormative. It was a lie used to argue against things like interracial marriage. Drop the bullshit. If you have concerns about where and when adolescents receive sex education, then just say that. But don't lie to make it about some secret pedophilic plot. Life is so much more boring than that, people just don't want to be treated like degenerates or criminals when they're harming no one.
