Don't worry. At least we get to see a tower-born regular go against an irregular and not be immediately atomized like the admin do to those that break the rules.

I think you'll find that *interesting* but not in a good way...

It's certainly fuel for the argument that Traumerei is of a lower quality than the other Irregulars because of the nature of his game. In the end, the summons he uses are still just creatures from the Tower.

I wasn't on board with this logic, but apparently SIU is. Traumerei will still squash Yasratcha in the end all the same.

It's possible he's using the lowest-tier summons first, saving the stronger ones for more threatening fights, if any were to occur.

It's also possible that his personal battling (hand-to-hand) is a tier above what anything in the tower could offer.




But, either way, he's known for his summons. That's like a SB getting punked with his spears not landing. I dunno, it doesn't look very godlike as we have grown custom to expect from irregs.

The dialogue changes everything. You guys know that I'm not someone who believes in Irregular invincibility and I have endorsed Traumerei's downfall this arc. But this chapter doesn't make Traumerei look bad at all.

Here's what he says when he sees Yasratcha's Complete Transformation:

You've turned into quite a weird appearance.

I have no interest in you. Take the dog-

And kill the cat.

And then he sits back down, returns to his sleep and completely ignores Yasratcha's existence.

At the end of the chapter when Yasratcha jumps at Traumerei with a desperate attack, screaming his mind out:

Traumerei!! // For such a long time, // I've waited for this moment!!

Traumerei does not even bother to look at him. Just as you do not notice when a single flea lands on your skin, Yasratcha's existence does not register for Traumerei.


Should Traumerei even bother to look at Yasratcha, he probably disintegrates him with a glance. That's the atmosphere of the chapter and dialogue in it.

Chapter's title is Offensive Conversion (?)

Before the flashback starts Yas yells at Traumerai that he's going to show him what power Yas' research of hybrids gave him, he talks about not being ruled by anyone ever again. Traum is not interested, says Yas turned into a weirdo, tells his shinhueh to capture Yama and kill Yas. Fight starts, Doom asks Yama about what he saw from their father's memories when he got the fang but Yama is confused and doesn't know who to fight.

In the flashback, Traum says he'll spare WW's family since he kept his end of the deal and got stabbed by literally everyone. WW wants Yas to kill him, talks about the fangs in his heart and asks him to deliver those to his children. He wants his children to live free of their instincts, unlike he lived. But Yas doesn't want to kill WW, he turns back meaning to leave but is stopped by Traum's mind control who made him kill WW in the end. Traum goes into the warp portal saying that he leaves killing the dogs to Yas and then Yas is free to go wherever he wants to. Yas is pissed, on Traum, himself and the remaining dogs for killing WW. He decides to kill them all, he couldn't stop killing and after everyone was dead he was howling like a beast.

The thing is that Yasratcha never did that!! Doom say he gave the fang just to him! Yama and the canine were dominated by Yas in the wall but we can see that paul and doom weren't affected at all!
