I am not debating whether they are strong or weak.I am saying war should have casualties on both sides if it is to be written realistic,the war in the Nest Arc,if it can be called a war,has been with one side not suffering any casualties.

It was a massacre, they underestimated FUG, FUG brought multiple slayers and elders, and Rei got pulled away before he could swing the battle

Probably. Can't entirely rule out the possibility of SIU trolling and putting the FUG contingent at Lilial's ship though,

Yes not all wars are even but does not mean a side doesn't suffer a single casualty that does not happen.Even in the most one sided victory the winning side suffers some losses...


Look at Legend of the Galactic Heroes or 86.They beautifully portrayed war in a realistic way.People die in war, it's the unfortunate fact of life.

I have wanted to see Baam being invited to the Po Bidau's Research Association for so long and with this reveal it might be that Rachel and Yura set foot there before him .

Can't know what she wished for but she being on their ship is very interesting. EMILE must be even more threatening now.

It's going to be pretty great when Gustang drags everybody on that ship back to Po Bidau HQ and then we round 3 of Rachel VS Koon.

Also starting to feel a little bad for Lilial. She has no idea the mess that has just landed on her doorstep.

Frankly the Nest Arc has been pretty lackluster.It does not feel like a war.War means both sides will suffer casualties but here only the Zahard side lost members.The only named death in FUG's case is Namo and that too at friendly fire incident.

I would argue nobody really lost anybody who mattered ultimately. Even Zahard's side. A few characters we never knew existed until now. That's pretty much it. Everybody important got out alive.

Am i the only one who thinks art's quality has dropped massively?

I find it OK. SIU should get some rest even if it means the art quality drops a bit for now.
I personally prefer a good plot over pretty panels. ( so, I hope SIU can take his time to write TOG properly)

war and many other things are never going to be realistic in shonen tower of god.
hating firefish or traumerei will not make you a hater/complainer, you must hate much more than that in order to be one. In this SHONEN story, the villain like traumerei will always be/get nerfed and the weak protagonists will get huge unexplainable powerups. You could even say this is part of the comedy really. This is just how shonen works and how tog will go from now on. do not expect things to make sense, just laugh and pretend everything is fine.ignore retcon/plothole too.

Tbh that's too bad, Rachel is still there.
She should mention "Teleport me to the last floor 135" in one of her three wishes, instead of some hulululu power.
Her goal is just that, right?

In the end, Baam is being moved around like a chess piece inspite of being an irregular.
Lv. 100 Fate at work. ( it should be a character at this point).

It's going to he hard to find a true enemy of Baam in the entire Tower going by the Nest arc.

Baam is his own enemy at this point.

I always thought it was a living flame taking the form of a fish due to Aguero's subconscious mind.
Probably he remembered that sweetfish which saved him during the Dallar show. ( Didn't he call it sweetfish when it first appeared?)

We know direct-descendants princesses don't see regulars as humans. However, Lilial said in this chapter that I couldn't even say goodbye properly to my teammates. She doesn't seem to look down on them. I suppose all of them must be from direct descendants of the 10 families.

Maybe, but i think that's just a way to show us that Traumerei is doing her dirty. She really didn't seem like a good person at the nhs to me, but i guess now siu wants us to like/pity her.
