Well, the double chapters of the last few weeks were basically "one chapter that got too long" they ended up completing each other in the end, naver must have told SU to split them up to make more money.

This one, on the other hand, was very closed, the good thing is that it shouldn't disturb the SIU schedule, even more so now that he changed his design method and delegated more things.

I think the only reason to believe it is Ranker level is Ren's statement. Plus even Lilial was afraid of it.

Well, there are numerous powerful Shinheuhs in the tower, they don't necessarily need to be ranker level.

13GW themselves rose facing these creatures.

And even if it's ranker level, there is a gap between ranker and high-ranker as they are talking about.

If FUG sent Drabi - she's certainly a ranker. If she's there on her own accord - could be whatever.

I’m wondering what faction of FUG Drabi is from. She could lead us into more information about another Slayer or elder.

She could be talking about Cha and HJ or FUG's plans, after all Luslec wouldn't be stupid to just send a regular/ranker for that

- as hinted on FoD, SC was something that outclassed everyone, and Androssi warns Baam not to even bother with trying to attack it
- SS should be even stronger than SC, transformed version or whatever
- Rei doesn't fw scrubs, and yet he sent for this one in particular
- Ren, an AR/HR whatever (probably the later?), was impressed by the power of it swelling up beneath him - if that's not indication enough idk what is
...
- if everyone here now is a reg (they aren't since Yuri's arrival), including the antagonist snek, then what are we even doing?

My guy, we're about 400 chapters in from Baam back when he wasn't shit, being able to freeze people like Love and Quant. I'm not shocked that a well placed regular binding ability could stop a ranker for a second.

Only thing you missing here is that:

•Baam is the son of 2 irregulars
•Baam is irregular, tower laws don’t apply to him.
•Baam have the soul of the god outside the tower

so yes it makes a lot of sense he can do that as a kid
If you re-read a bit your are going to find that Baam was really weak in comparison with all the others irregulars. So for them what Baam did to love and quant is really nothing.. you can’t compare Baam with regulars

Why would we presume that Sea Snake, which would at best be a child of Snake Charmer, is stronger than Charmer?

Ren last we saw was a Ranker, not even advanced or High, just Ranker. But let's give him the benefit and say he's now Advanced. That still doesn't mean Sea Snake is High Ranker level.

That doesn't say much. To be surprised is not necessarily to be afraid, he can be surprised because there is such a creature lost on the mother ship, for example.

I'm not against the idea of being a ranker, I just don't see any reason to start with the ranker x regular litany like they were already doing.
