Grey wolf brach is the weakest branch with nothing special, so of course they want money.

Was it actually stated that they were the weakest? All I remember is Elaine's family being neglected because they weren't direct descendants. So, she was the most talented of the branch, but DD from the branch do exist. And the leader is probably one.
