You posted an incorrect date. I agree with you that there will likely be no tribute this week, but saying he died Friday was false. The date in which he died is not a minor detail.

That hint likely shows the stuff of nightmares in their forms. I actually wonder if they'll be named or if we'll find out more about them. It'll be an interesting thing if they're "demons" or incarnations of such creatures.

Like others, if dreams bring about DF, possibly nightmares do too.

The thread is discussion about the chapter, if there's no chapter (or at least spoilers) then there's no discussion, if you want yo theorize, you can talk about on Theory - Crazy Theories and Predictions | MangaHelpers or in this thread about the hints, come on it's not that difficult...

I do understand the rules and those are not the Problem i had with the previous message. I'm just confused why everyone would have to wait for even longer after a breakweek because someone did post in a wrong thread. Excuse me If i failed to point that out more clear.

Look, it's not the first time this has happened and I have mentioned it in the past, most people have been here long enough to know better, I'm rather hands off majority of the time, so you asking me whether I get off on abusing my power is weird to be frank with you.

Maybe i misinpreted you're message and got different threads confused, my apologies if i got heated there. And no, i didnt really think my post would be of any use, obviously. But i rather put my emotions and thoughts somewhere than carrying them around.
I totally understand there are rules and those and the Community here in contrast to other pages are the main reason i follow most of the discussion here.
That's why i didnt quite understand why you would deny everyone the discussion thread even when the spoilers are out just because someone did use the wrong thread. Obviously i'm not on this forum for long enough and maybe there were times when those rules had to be enforced in such a way.
Let's try to end this here and get back to different topics.


I'm also hoping and am quite sure there will be hommages for Akira by other authors but, like many before said, i dont think Jump can put these in the magazine before the next release.


For that one hint i think it's quite clear this time. We will get Luffys reaction to the summoning of the remaining gorosei members. But i dont believe we will get their forms or fruits just yet. My guess would be that Oda keeps them as shadows so there is something to reveal later on.

In my experience (not a mod, so take it FWIW) they are usually more lenient in off-topic discussions on break weeks. The most recent discussion was taken over by the "Dragon is a bad leader" talk which while dragon was in the chapter, it'd be hard to argue that specific discussion had anything to do with the chapter. That said, in nearly 20 years of browsing these forums and 10 years of actively using them I've never seen discussion allowed in a coming-chapter thread before any information on said chapter is released. The structure of the threads is clear in the titles - current chapter AND next chapter theories. So any predictions could theoretically go into the current (released / spoiled) chapter thread.

It's also worth noting that it's really never worth being an asshole. Most of them were likely selected based on having a good rapport with the forum-goers as a starting point, and adhering to the rules as best they can. Having a tantrum toward the mods in the discussion usually results in a ban at worst, and at best you just kinda look like an asshole while other members will start to write you off, so that when you have decent contributions to make you are given less of a voice to promote them.

We did lock threads for a period of time, but I often forgot to unlock them due to being busy at work.

I'm always surprised by the boldness of leakers. Makes me wonder how much they actually make from leaking manga that comes out a few days later anyways. OTOH I also wonder how much jurisdiction Jump would have in those countries beyond firing employees of distributors, or if the leakers are dumb enough to not be using VPN / paying for premium X using an alias that isn't traceable.

Personally i wont mind... as long i could see the spoilers pics and summaries i can discuss the spoilers later.. in fact i already do it... .i open my trusty notepad to write anything i like to discuss and correct it.. and then i paste it away when is open.

Anonymity doesn't truly exist on the internet someone can find you if they really put their mind to it.
But they don't really make an effort to hide it like you said, you can easily infer what country their from and trace them that way, for people who act like they're holier than thou they easily slip up

well.. there is an insane amount of money.. this manga moves... even if is just a manga.. and they leakers, not a bunch of terrorists.. if they leak stuff and it follow to money loss in sales.. they r goin to track them down.. like if they were the freaking C.I.A .. wherever they r.... it also tell me.. egghead Arc it is only goin to scalate even more in epicness until his end.. this is already a battle between godlike beings... i mean cmon.. it is the first time in 27 freaking (of our years).. the gorosei all of them come out of that room... it means this chapter need to be sold like a Mfker.. and leakers are getting in the way...

Yeah. It just depends. Japan is pretty far behind on software practices and I've not heard of people being arrested or anything outside of Japan. If anything this is something that calls for a process review. I'm not very familiar with the process, but I've always been curious why people in the Middle-East seem to get access to leaks from half a world away. My guess would be something to do with local laws in the more conservative countries before publishing official chapters. Then again I could also see Jordan telling a Japan to F off.

Remember that Japan's laws are not international. I think pewPiece is from arabic country, which would never help Japanese lawsuit any easier. Some of the leakers are inpossible to down. Furthermore its not like its their national threat its just jump lawsuit, which is a private vendetta with limitted possibilities. I find it hard to believe they will suddenly chase down all the leakers
