Smoker is back. Now let's just hope that it isn't on the cover story but in the actual chapter. It might be too late for Oda to make him relevant again but it's still nice he's coming back.

I don't think where going to see him fighting. It's probably just more reactions.

Hmmm, smoker. Normally I wouldn't think that's too interesting but with the way oda has been handing out powerups to characters recently it wouldn't be too strange if smoker can match admirals now.

Oda will prob end up giving Momo more to match Admirals than Smoker. lol

Why would Smoker be looking for flame man?

I hadn't considered this before but if haki can be stored as an energy source that would be interesting. This also makes me think what if Emeth himself just has haki - maybe when active he can be considered a conscious being which could mean haki is not limited to organic life.

Why would Smoker be looking for flame man?

just an example. since i am not a fan of wasting panels (showing characters just for the sake of showing characters), I wish any appearance, brings us revelations. so if i have to see smoker, i wish he brings us further, something new, not the usual 2 panels small talk, while looking at luffy's wanted poster, taking a deep pull of his cigars.

I really wonder what he's dragging across the ocean in such a hurry. Last thing I remember about Smoker was 'guy that got Worf'd at Punk Hazard'.

so, "one piece" is just one part of the story. This is just a prequel manga. Luffy was only meant to find One Piece of the puzzle. Oda is a genius.

So who the traitor is? And who was betrayed? Very interesting. I think it's reference to Kizaru and his performance at Egghead. It is understandable that he lost to Luffy but his lack of any action afterwards cannot be explained properly to WG in my opinion.

I mean, Kizaru got his ass kicked by Gear 5th, which many of the other Marines also had a hard time countering. You could only fault them so much, even an Admiral. lol

Since it is near the end of the arc, my guess is the "traitor" has to do with another plotline, possibly with the WG/marines.

The Gorousei are the biggest failures, don't think they're in any position to blame others, especially Kizaru
Besides, Kizaru did kill Vegapunk Stella, and he can claim he got severely injured by Luffy, that's why he couldn't return to fight.

Their next meeting with Imu will be interesting, lol.
Always fun scolding others for not capturing Luffy... not so easy now after they tried themselves
