WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP THREAD RULES​

#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

This will be the 2nd time HxH comes back to replace JJK. IIRC, HxH also came back when JJK ended last year? Or am I remembering wrongly

yeah i'm suspecting a modulo situation with HxH where it occupies a slot for a limited run while they figure out serialization stuff. they're clearly a bit wary behind the scenes rn with so many misses as of late.

I can imagine Someone Hertz got the editorial offices breathing a very large sigh of relief....

What makes you say that? Yeah, 2025 was a rather "weak" year but unless Jump begged Akutami to come back, Modulo is going to sell amazing and Hertz is already better than most of 2024 which had 5 successful series and could be looked at as a "strong" year

All that to say, I don't think they're scrambling cause 2025 was a weak year. It happens from time to time. Sometimes, rarely, there will be a year with no successes. As long as One Piece, Sakamoto, Blue Box, Kagurabachi, and Ichi are still kicking, I think the editorial team is fine

Hm, is anyone having an issue, where when you are looking up the your content in the website it just shows no results whatsover, same thing when searching for any of the threads or forums as well, it shows no results as well.

Is the site going through some updates for this to be happening? Cause its kinda annoying to deal with.

Hmm, for me is working fine, but the Forum has gone through many updates by the Tech staff in the last week which is why it was quite unstable, so might be this.

I don't know any japanese but it was kinda easy to see it has something to do with psyche or something along those lines, given how trippy the action scenes are.

Since tomorrow we get ourselves issue 8 toc and the preview of issue 9, am going to go for a guess:

I think the top five will be one piece, blue box, kagurabachi, sakamoto days and jujutsu kaisen modulo.

For bottom five am going with ort, harukaze, gonron, himaten, nue exorcist(Cause of course saito is never gonna admit its popularity when its quite obvious to anyone in the shonen scene) and elusive samurai(Since its becoming quite clear its ending in the next few weeks most likely so this move would not shock me at all).

As for issue 9, am inclined to beleive its Elusive Samurai or Akane Banashi taking the lead color pages, if Elusive Samurai gets it then it will be color pages for akane banashi, nue exorcist and a one shot.

If Akane Banashi is the lead color page then it would be elusive samurai, a one shot and nue exorcist.

Its either or really.

If its neither of them, then i would be inclined to believe it may well be the new batch of 2026 series making debuts. Likely going to be two newcomers or one newcomer and one veteran(Successfull or otherwise).
