#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Maybe thats how he's tried adapting to this, but it may very well be another "off" week for him.

Looks like we may have another completely dead batch on our hands. I guess it's not quite over for JK Hero yet since it is at least above Roboco, but even so being this low this early is usually not something series recover from early unless it significantly changes what it's doing in response like Kiyoshi did.

I really hope Kinato is less bland and empty than Shadow Eliminators.

I'd love to believe this is the case (the thought has crossed my mind) but I'd actually believe it more if it was unfinished art. Think it's partially the way the pages are laid out (more spreads in this chapter) so it might just be a regular chapter with more spreads resulting in a shorter page count. I do think he had a window for a color page here with the new year break if the work schedule has eased up a bit

Probably to avoid the same thing from happening again? They should know Takeru's limitations by now.

Continuously putting out scribble bachi is going to be a bad look for jump. At the same time, he can't run away from LCP / Cover duties considering it's a flagship title.

Shorter chapters are a preferable. compensation.

Spread pages are simply 2 pages that together form a big illustration, they dont count as 1 page, having more or less dont mean shorter chapters.

In my mind it's either this or him wanting more time for an action chapter. Either way I'm fine so long as he doesn't have to publish anything unfinished again

IIRC he got sick over winter (unless I'm mistaking someone else's authors comment for his) so I'm not sure he could have used the time to do more even if he wanted to I think we'll get one to celebrate when the next arc begins, which shouldn't be too long now, though maybe it'll come after a short break.

Although right now am just doing some research on how professional wrestling looks like in Japan and am kinda interested if the format is going to be followed or not. Just as a warm up as to what could be expected or not in Alien Headbutt.

Here is what Wikipedia said about it in regards to Japanese professional wrestling:

Japanese professional wrestling (puroresu) also developed distinctively, initially drawing from traditional American style wrestling and becoming an entity in itself.[117] Although matches are predetermined, the psychology and presentation of performances differ markedly: Among the largest promotions, such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Noah, professional wrestling is treated as a full contact combat sport that mixes hard hitting martial arts strikes with shoot style submission holds,[118] whilst in the U.S. it is rather more regarded as an entertainment show. I have a theory, based on nothing, that Jump treats Shinobi like this because it's kind of a stereotype in Japan that foreigners love ninjas. Gaijin? So you love ninjas??

So maybe they think, while japanese readers are not flocking to it now, it can be the Kagurabachi and Ichi tier hit they treat it as when it gets an anime. All these foreigners will love this like Naruto because it has ninjas. Naruto being more popular than One Piece in the west in the 2000s probably shocked them enough for Saito to think any decent ninja manga will sell millions overseas, even if it's not really particularly that big on their own international manga service.

But getting 3 colors in 5 issues isn't that different from the other complaints I had about it. It got an obi for ALL volumes and the only one that wasn't a recommendation was that amazing "8th place at Tsugi manga!" obi, while Nue and Chojo never got one for that, while ranking better. lol

If Ono isn't struggling, I would probably feel wronged by the lack of color pages. (I hope you all read these last paragraphs in a humorous way, at this point I'm more amused than annoyed lol)

Crazy, we finally got a Kinnikuman clone. Only took about like what, 40 years?

We had a Kinnikuman clone replacing it akshaully. The Momotaroh, ran for more than 100 chapters, so it was a modest success!

Not even talking about ecchi or fanservice or anything like that, but if it's clearly fujobait, I'm over this guy. I LIKE fujobait even: Reborn? Sure, give me more of that. Give me Prince of Tennis. I'm all for some bishounen action and shipping.

But this guy is terrible at it, he clearly did that in SE thinking it was a free ticket to success: "these fujoshi are so easy, I'll just write two hot dudes and get my 300 chapter serialization with extremely marketable anime". But no, that just proved everyone that think fujoshi have no standards wrong. The dynamic between both dudes was terrible, forced and it felt like made by someone who never read or watched works like this, I bet he never watched Free!

So please, just do whatever you want. Maybe a sweaty demon girl, maybe a sweaty demon guy, just do something you care about, Amemiya.
