#6. Any tweet, specially japanese, about news, update or some interesting thing about the magazine or series has to come with a text of what that tweet means and also be on topic, if not it's going to be either deleted or i will edit the post.
#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

25 chapters is not "a little thin". 25 chapters means 9 chapters in vol 3. And vol 2 is confirmed to have 9 chapters too.

There is no way modulo is going any further than 25 chapters, looking at how the story goes now

Honestly I did underestimate how frequent it was, and I didn’t realize we had the chapter count for vol 2 already. But Kagurabachi for example had 27 chapters in the first 3 volumes, so the stretching wasn’t impossible. I do think 26 is less likely than 25 though and they’re not fitting 11 chapters into vol 3 so it probably is 25 if the 2nd volume only has 9.

Just a small update, there's actually a one shot for the next issue that i didn't included in the preview simply because is just a 9 pages 4-koma one shot from Jump Frontier which for some weird reason they're hiding the artist name with "?????", so i thought it was strange, but i decided to post it anyway, it's called "4-Koma Banksy"

And Alien Headbutt chapter 3, in my opinion is definitely better than ch2, had more interesting things and nice surprises, pacing is good too, some details in spoilers for anyone curious:

-Shirokiba and Haruya already find the place with a group of humans in the eggs, they're all alive but the aliens who were securing them are dead and torn to pieces
-One of the humans is Haruya brother
-We are introduced to a new alien, a "mega gorilla" one that makes the aliens introduced so far looks like minions
-Shirokiba already attacks the alien but gets easily owned, still the chapter ends with a aura moment of him being badass and saying he will kill the alien because of Haruya brother, seems like Haruya brother helped him when a kid against some bullies.

I know I’m preaching to the choir but I’m so bored with Shinobi Undercover at this point. It’s become so formulaic, and it also reminds me of one of the problems with Otr where every time someone unleashes a special power it involves filling up the entire page with fire/steam/water/whatever. It’s very visually busy. I feel like early on this series had a completely different tone and was leaning more into comedy and Yodaka being an anxious klutz. I enjoyed that more, now everything is super serious constant ninja battles and it’s just not that interesting or exciting to me. I’m only still reading this because it takes 5 minutes each week to stay up to date, but it’s usually the last thing I read each week.

Much has been said about how bad Gonron Egg is but something I’ve noticed the past several chapters is how there are so many panels that are just characters talking over a completely white background. Maybe I’m just being a hater but I scanned through other series and found almost no panels like this, but in Gonron they are on almost every page. The art has also been even rougher lately too. It feels like the series is just being phoned in at this point.

Maybe I’m just being a hater but I scanned through other series and found almost no panels like this, but in Gonron they are on almost every page. The art has also been even rougher lately too. It feels like the series is just being phoned in at this point.

Is just the author reaaally not being suitable for weekly serialization, saying it looks "rougher" is being nice, it looks legit bad, only 15 chapters and the art looking like this is just embarrassing:

I don't remember the last time i see such a big downgrade in art so fast on Shonen Jump.

I mean at the very least we're not getting another color page next week, and this upcoming chapter is ranking at a reasonable spot for the actual content thats been put out lately, but yeah, 100% agree.

lol is already axed, no need to move to Plus and it has got progressively worse since chapter 5 or something, from the author comments he seems fine health wise, he just can't draw fast enough.

I dont know where the future for Under Doctor is but Tanimoto really NEEDS to open up a twitter account and post artworks like Kawaguchi and Horikoshi does.

I think he might already be a better artist than kawaguchi if i were to rank hori's assistants.

Doesn’t he have assistants? Why is there no background or anything, just stark white? The earlier chapters weren’t this bad. Maybe he just can’t keep up, but I wonder if maybe it became obvious this wasn’t going to last very early on and now the author is just going through the motions. The chapters feel like the author himself is disinterested now. It feels very phoned-in in a way that other obviously doomed series haven’t.

This is true. I anticipate that once Under Doctor is around 7 to 8 chapters, we could be seeing a new batch with gonron leaving.

Anyway. Quite curious about how the new batch will fare more as the next few weeks go by. Seems like Kinato Magic is safe for the time being given the amount of talks overall. I think the same could possibly be said for under doctor, but am not sure. Alien Headbutt still needs some chapters to fully establish itself more.
