Enjoy turtles
I think UM was chosen to enter as to remove shinies and maybe protect Night in the future. He also uses shinsu.First being Enryu, second being Phantaminum and third being Urek.

That doesn't answer the question tho, like why the same power when used by different characters are different. One is restricted while another isn't.They trained him, he is experienced enough and she was fooled thinking that she had all his PoL. It's Urek's own power. He is a veteran fighter in this spin-off already.
She used Urek's power as fuel and boost. She has her own techniques and is a Shiny herself. That doesn't answer the question tho, like why the same power when used by different characters are different. One is restricted while another isn't.

Urek's control and mastery isn't that great yet though. He is still mostly relying on his Light. And Latour did pretty well against him.I think that the shinys will eventually learn some kind of Shinsu manipulation, otherwise there would be no challenge for Urek now that he adapted a bit to the Tower environment.
I beg your pardon but what's the difference? Doesn't UM also uses it as fuel? Isn't that same mechanism with both towerborns and irregulars who use shinsu as a fuel to use their techniques and weapons. I also remember Mago was throwing blast of lights that doesn't seem technique. She used Urek's power as fuel and boost. She has her own techniques and is a Shiny herself
He got called a weakling too so i doubt Urek felt threatened in any meaningful way tbh, but of course we haven't seen all that Latour can do yet.Urek's control and mastery isn't that great yet though. He is still mostly relying on his Light. And Latour did pretty well against him.
Difference? Mago's amount of Urek's PoL was finite. Urek lost a good chunk of his PoL before even entering in the Tower.I beg your pardon but what's the difference? Doesn't UM also uses it as fuel? Isn't that same mechanism with both towerborns and irregulars who use shinsu as a fuel to use their techniques and weapons. Also she was a shiny not one currently. UM told in ch 255 iirc that they are a past of thing. Now they are the ones who devour the light
Ur mistaken. UM Is stronger without shinsu as he implied. U can check 10 percent of his power at FOD vs 10 percent of SR against Mirchea. There's a vast difference.I think that the shinys will eventually learn some kind of Shinsu manipulation, otherwise there would be no challenge for Urek now that he adapted a bit to the Tower environment.

Shinies are those who can gather their light by themselves. Phanta prolly changed her race when their OG bodies were destroyed and sealed them in the gems.Mago is a Shiny, her race hasn't changed. What is she? Human? At worst you can say she feeds on Darkness or something
He is in the Tower, he can't draw 100% of his light powers anyway, using the Shinsu to some extent proved beneficial against Aurbyon, his best technique also combined Light with Shinsu, no reason to believe he would be better off without using Shinsu at all for the time being at least.Ur mistaken. UM Is stronger without shinsu as he implied. U can check 10 percent of his power at FOD vs 10 percent of SR against Mirchea. There's a vast difference.
UM is a pure being of light. While it may look like shinsu plus light > light, but I always believed for a being with pure light, shinsu is hindrance or represents impurities in his power. UM can never reach his peak with shinsu and light since it's likely that shinsu tries to dominate or restrict his light.
Why are you comparing Urek who is accustomed to the Tower to the current Urek? He is in the Tower, they fight with Shinsoo. He showed in this spin-off that by fusing PoL and Shinsoo, his attacks are much stronger. Shinsoo is an hindrance to his PoL but he can still master Shinsoo and he showed it. He is an Irregular.Ur mistaken. UM Is stronger without shinsu as he implied. U can check 10 percent of his power at FOD vs 10 percent of SR against Mirchea. There's a vast difference.

I doubt it's the best technique when he never used it against FLs. I see light plus shinsu is a temporary boost. My understanding is he is just using shinsu to fill the remaining gap in his powers. He is in the Tower, he can't draw 100% of his light powers anyway, using the Shinsu to some extent proved beneficial against Aurbyon, his best technique also combined Light with Shinsu, no reason to believe he would be better off without using Shinsu at all for the time being at least.

Because like many believe he has light in the main story too.Why are you comparing Urek who is accustomed to the Tower to the current Urek? He is in the Tower, they fight with Shinsoo. Of course. How does it change anything? If he uses both, obviously the attack will be stronger. As demonstrated in this very spin-off.Because like many believe he has light in the main story too.
We will see, i doubt S3 Urek needs to combine Light and Shinsu just to play peacekeeper with the FH's. We never saw him in a "real" fight in the main story after all. His fight vs Aurbyon imo is the most representative we have.I doubt it's the best technique when he never used it against FLs. I see light plus shinsu is a temporary boost. I told u the same thing. In ch 14 UM said he is stronger without shinsu. We see the difference with and without shinsu in the main story. I just pointed that outOf course. How does it change anything? If he uses both, obviously the attack will be stronger. As demonstrated in this very spin-off.
And against Aubryon he combines both for a stronger attack. Why are you stuck on Chapter 14?I told u the same thing. In ch 14 UM said he is stronger without shinsu. We see the difference with and without shinsu in the main story. I just pointed that out
First of all I am in the minority who believes UM doesn't have light in the main story one evidence of him being unable to fly on his own at FOD.We will see, i doubt S3 Urek needs to combine Light and Shinsu just to play peacekeeper with the FH's. Because he said lend me a hand for a moment pillar. English isn't my first language but from my understanding it seems it was a one time thing. Ofc if we have any English natives here feel free to correct me.And against Aubryon he combines both for a stronger attack. Why are you stuck on Chapter 14?
English isn't my first language either.Because he said lend me a hand for a moment pillar. English isn't my first language but from my understanding it seems it was a one time thing. Ofc if we have any English natives here feel free to correct me.
I am saying it's a one time thing. That's why I highlighted for a moment there.English isn't my first language either.
Figure of speech: Apostrophe.
Scorching Fist of Death is literally an evolution of the technique he used on Danzon, which is pure Shinsoo.
How can you deny something so evident?
The Axis of the Tower doesn't exist yet and has no power, he can't do anything.
Urek having light powers was most likely something SIU came up with during break imo. Hence we see no hints of it in baam time line of events.First of all I am in the minority who believes UM doesn't have light in the main story one evidence of him being unable to fly on his own at FOD.
2nd being he was bested thrice by the same technique of Mirchea. I am sure if he used light he would have destroyed it. Especially the 3rd one when V was running away with Mirchea. It's hard for me to believe that he would hold back his light.
